If you are looking for fancy this may not be the place for you. If you are looking for authentic “Mexican” food, go in, sit down and order, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. The menu is fairly typical of most Mexican restaurants that have had to modify their food in order to appeal to the American palate. The staples of beans and rice were fresh, hot and well seasoned. The entrees were done well and the servings were generous. More than half of the patrons were Latino… Always a good sign. Adelitas is small enough that the dishes are made to order and can be prepared exactly as you like. The restaurant must have been a gas station in the distant past, aside from the two overhead doors, the conversion is complete. The staff was very attentive, quick to help, and kept things clean. They also have an ice cream counter which I didn’t try as it was 14° outside. Overall a nice experience. Locally owned and operated. Don’t let the facade fool you, it’s the food and people that count.

So good! The Burrito and enchilada was delicious! The salsa with the chips was extra tasty and just the right amount of heat. I haven’t had fried ice cream since I was little- so glad we tried that as well! Service was super fast and so kind. Definitely recommend this little place!!

Todo muy bien. Everything very good. Stopped at Wahoo for a quick breakfast and glad we did. Their breakfast burritos were tasty and filling. Came with mild and hot sauce, the hot sauce had a kick. Peppers on the side were a nice treat but caution, it’s has a big kick. Stopping later for their dinner plates. Nice atmosphere to sit down to eat some authentic Mexican food.

Very authentic Mexican…to me anyways… I needed the translation key on the menu. The salsa and chips brought to the table were a little warm for me. But I’m a wuss. Glass of water was refilled.

Friendly people, but they don’t know food. Everything was overcooked, but under seasoned. Their salsa is good but the complimentary chips are not even salted and they seemed quite old and stale. The fish tacos had only lettuce and hard pieces of fish.

Great small town Mexica restaurant with ice cream shop on site. Wife and I shared the chicken burrito grande. Make sure to ask for the green and red sauce!

Service can be a little slow at time but I think they make everything fresh. You can’t go wrong with the number 14…. 5 street tacos the way it was meant to be

The service is pretty slow but the food was good. Not great, and Mexican food really needs more than just beans and rice for sides.
