We got the chance to try Wazabi this weekend in downtown Baytown, TX, and it was such an awesome find! The service was absolutely amazing; every team member made us feel so welcome. We started with some drinks off their daily specials, then one appetizer and a roll, and everything was so yummy! We will definitely be back next time we visit Baytown.

The place has so much potential. Nice hidden gem…. Baytown people, no need to drive far. We have this great sushi spot here. Waitstaff was nice, enjoy your cocktail be patient cause they are creating your masterpiece sushi.

Food was very good. The price was a little high, we definitely paid for presentation. The service was okay, not the fastest, but definitely fresh. However, 3 of the 5 people in our party started to have burning eyes and watering. There was something in the air that caused it, we never knew what though. Even our waitress expressed her eyes were burning too.

The food here is lacking. It’s okay, but personally, I wouldn’t call it great sushi. The service is very slow too, but I think that is because they’re understaffed. The atmosphere is fun. They’ve got board games that you can play while you wait.

The sushi was weak, they had stuff on the menu that wasn’t available, (fried rice) The crab regoons where bad, like not good at all but I think the worst thing about this place was the SAME sauce for everything! I’m not coming back place feels like a waste of good space.

The dining here is exceptional to say the least!! I was VERY PLEASED!! The food is comparable to midtown, Rice village and River Oaks!! This is a wonderful and welcome addition to Baytown! If I could recommend anything on the menu it would be the kimchee fries, ginger salad, brussel sprouts, ANY of the sushi rolls and especially the BLUE BALLS!! Wazabi is a must try!
