It is a great spot in downtown Phoenix, located off the main lobby of the Hyatt Hotel. We sat in the bar area to watch the baseball game on the giant TV, but it was also the open air side of the bar area in a newly renovated patio. It was really nice and relaxing. The bartenders were friendly but didn’t make you feel like you were at Cheers. The drinks were tasty. I highly recommend the Mojito and the Bourbon Old Fashioned. Both were tasty sipping drinks before an evening meal. I really enjoyed the open faced waygu steak sandwich with a smooth, smoky BBQ sauce and chunks of blue cheese. The Mac n’ cheese was spicy and just enough in its little cup. The onion rings great, too, with a good snap and crunch, and the onion stayed in the ring when you bit into it!

My wife and I came here after an evening of Phoenix Fan Fusion activities. The kitchen was set to close at 10:30 pm so we knew that we were close to close. So we understand that the service was not going to be great.

Food was pretty good. The atmosphere was what you would expect, but there was a complete failure when it came down to 6 people in our party. When it came time to check out (I didn’t even arrive with a group of 6, just sat down after they ordered) I was not allowed to pay for my own meal. I felt like I was in an escape room.

Pretty decent food but the waygu was cut too thick for a decent steak sandwich, although it was seasoned well. The bartender was nice enough but didn’t pay the most attention to the bar. We’ll be back either way.
