I came here with my mom and brother to get ice cream. I got a peanut butter cup frenzy, my brother got the same thing I got and my mom got the black raspberry ice cream. The ice cream was very good. The service was quick because we got it for take out. The staff are nice, and friendly. They have in door dining and out door dining. They have restrooms here as well. They also have all kinds of different ice cream here as well. They also sell regular food here as well. Like clam chowder, fish and chips, burgers, milk shakes etc. The parking lot is big with handicap parking and handicap accessible entrance. There was a line outside of this place while we were getting ice cream. There is also a kid menu here as well.

We went to get dessert and were seated pretty quickly. The waitress took out order, she was nice. As we waited I could hear complaints coming from the walk up window about the wait time. Inside there were maybe 4 tables of guests. About 20 minutes later our treats were brought to the table and I immediately noticed the ice cream was all melted and barely had toppings on it. I approached the front counter(as the waitress wasn’t around) and asked if it could be remade. The young man was short with me and was like yea yea I’ll be with you in a minute. I went to sit down as his attitude was off putting and was going to wait for the waitress when he rudely approached our table and went to grab my treat without me explaining what was wrong so I said never mind, I don’t want it anymore just forget it (i wasn’t going to risk what he’d do to it) and he’s like “even better” i said excuse me!? Watch how you talk to me and we left without even a bite of ice cream. We did go to the chicopee Friendly’s where we received our table and treats(made perfectly) within less than 10 minutes. I suggest the holyoke Friendly’s get some new management in there asap.

I’m a Friendly’s life-long customer and I must say this location was very disappointing. We were in town from Connecticut and thought this Friendly’s would be as good as the one in North Haven. It was NOT. The food was only ok, in part because I think they may have been short a cook. I actually sent back my buffalo chicken tenders because they had no flavor and were dry and cold.

I love Friendly”s ice cream…it’s the best. This location, however, was overwhelmed with customers an most of them seemed to be terribly inexperienced. But the young lady who was the Manager seemed to really keep them in line and keep things moving as fast as she could with inexperienced hands on deck—kudos to her. So, it took me 20 minutes to get a sundae, but it was Friendly’s , and SO worth it!

The chicken in the buffalo chicken wrap was so dry that I could only eat a few bites of it, the mozzarella sticks turned my stomach and the service was initially poor but got better later in the transaction.

Was just standing outside waiting over ten minutes for anyone to address me they all looked at me and didn’t even bother. I went inside to see if they would treat me there but no luck either I went back out side waited and knocked on the window. The “manager,” someone who looked like he had very poor hygiene and greasy loose hair. Asked me if the cone he was handling was mine. I told home no why would it be mine if I’ve been standing here over ten minutes and no one has addressed us. He responded well we are busy that’s why. Like that’s ok and I should just wait and understand. Mind you I’m watching them work this entire time and honestly they’re just a mess and very incompetent. Didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing at all. SMH probably dodged a bullet.

Good food, good prices, and very timely. Can’t ask for much else when you order food for pick up. Plus they keep the ice cream separate from the hot food so it doesn’t melt.
