ESSENCE RUSSELL- WHITE
This place was great. Our waiter was so nice and very polite. It had a cute outdoor seating area with 4 tables. They of course give you chips and salsa, but they also give you this sauce (white sauce) we asked the waiter what it was, and he stated it was a sauce specific to Virginia. It was delicious! It was sweet then it kicked you in the face with the heat. Our food and drinks came out at lightning speed. Geesh, I didn’t even get to the 3rd so of my water before the food came out. It took about 10 to 15 min after we ordered to come out. Food cans out hot and sizzling. I ordered the steak Fajitas. It could have used a little bit more seasoning but still good. Their margaritas come in 3 or 4 sizes for you, depending on how big of a day you had.. LOL. Great experience. Will come back, definitely.

The Carne Asada fries, and the chori pollo are very amazing. Highly recommend you try them. This place is amazing. It’s my second time here picking up an order. It was fresh and hot still if you’re in the shore Drive area I would definitely try this place.

The vibe and atmosphere was the first thing you notice. It’s great food. The meat is season but not just hot. It’s all fresh tasting. Wide variety and excellent prices. The staff could have been more attentive. Overall I was pleased and will be back.

My first time to the establishment today and the food didn’t disappoint, I had the chicken and vegetables soup, and chicken & rice with broccoli it was delicious. My wife and kids enjoyed their meals as well. They said it was the best they ever tasted. And want to go again before we end our vacation. Service was on point. Social distance for dining. Just go in to enjoy the atmosphere will not disappoint.

Food was wonderful the atmosphere was a little loud. Service started off great but our server seemed to forget we existed after the food came. Had to go to the register to place our dessert order and then track someone else down to get our check.

I live almost 30 minutes away and the exceptional experience I always have here is worth the drive. My favorites are the creamy chorizo y queso dip, FRESH guacamole dip, the buffalo chicken wings are scrumptious, the pinalisco is to die for, and don’t even get me started on how tasty the drinks are. I always recommend this place to friends and family. Best Mexican restaurant in all of VB! (Sorry I didn’t take any more pictures I was too hungry)
