Me and my partner are visiting from Portland and stopped here randomly last night, it was awesome! The guy that took our order was genuinely friendly and helpful, i wish i got his name. I ordered the cheese enchiladas plate. The guy explained these are “Real Mexican enchiladas” and that it was a big plate. I ate everything on that plate! (Minus the chicken because i don’t eat chicken, but my guy enjoyed it lol) I grew up eating lots of Mexican food (my grandmother was first generation Mexican American) and my partner grew up in Florida eating lots of south American food, he ordered the asada tacos and asada fries and loved them. I tasted a little of my partners food, the pico was so good on the fries. The fries themselves were well seasoned. There were a few too many pickled jalapeños but not a problem, he seemed to love everything.

The manager doesn’t respect his customers. He went off on my 17-year-old daughter for parking in his parking lot just for an hour even after we bought food there. My daughter was stuck with no gas and he decided to yell at her and tell her she can’t sleep there all night. She’s not homeless, she was out of gas. His restaurant is literally next to the Shell. She’s autistic and had no idea where to park and he could have been nice about that but no, instead he threatened her father that he’s just going to get her car towed next time. This manager gives poor customer service and he does not respect anyone. He needs to be replaced by someone who truly has passion for others so that they can come back to his restaurant.

I ordered the five chicken enchilada al a carte. Vern had a chili Rellano plate. The rice and beans aren’t terrific. Vern said the chili was a package thing, not a fresh pepper. The folded over tortilla with the chicken shoved inside is not an enchilada. They disintegrated.

Wow. So happy I stopped here. The prices were great. My boyfriend and I got 2 asada tacos, 1 asada burrito, horchatas and asada fries. The guy at the counter was really nice, and the food was so fresh and delicious. Burrito was massive and I’ve never had that much juice come out of a lime. The open salsa bar was helpful, as I have noticed other places limits the amount and I never get enough. I wish you guys were in my hometown! Thanks!!

WORST food. Inedible. When I asked the owner for a full refund they were extremely rude and said if I brought back all the food INCLUDING the soda they could do HALF BACK because “the food was already made” which ALSO means they don’t make fresh to order food. So dry. No salt. it was 15 mins before closing and the food tasted like it was sitting all day. Go to EL TRIO LOCO in Gearhart- so much better and way more friendly. I wouldn’t eat this even if I had to starve. SHAME ON YOU!!! Yuck!!!!!!!!
