The best chicken tenders I’ve ever had and I’ve tried tons. The drink menu was good. The setting is nice, you get to see planes taking off and landing. I’m definitely coming back here to try more food!

Flight deck is a cool little restaurant located right at the airport and has views of the airstrips which is pretty cool. The service was really good and the food was okay. I had a Caesar salad but the dressing was really salty so wouldn’t recommend unless that’s your thing. Prices are good and the patios a nice place to sit and have a drink

Now this place may not be everyone’s cup of tea but I like it. For me brings back memories of the small restraint in Orange county John Wayne Airport back when John Wayne was still around. The food never disappoints. They do the best fried chicken at dinner. If you are in for lunch get the chicken tenders. Now I know chicken tenders. Well the breading they use is like no other. Light thin crispy full of flavor and the chicken is juicy. I can honestly say the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. I’m no fan of fried food so we’ll its great. My wife had the Salmon and she said it was prepared better than a much more expensive restaurant we went to just a week earlier. They have a full bar with all the classic drink and they’re own cocktails. “The Flight Attendant” was a good one. I’ve had a lot on their menu and never been disappointed. Its typical American cuisine but w their own specialties. Coll throw back small airport feeling with cool model planes hanging from the ceiling.

The service and atmosphere was great (loved watching planes land and take off) but the food was a big miss. Went on a Tuesday and there was plenty of seating which was nice.

I’m almost afraid to shout out how much I enjoyed this restaurant for fear that it will become so popular that I can’t get a seat, but I don’t care. I loved this place! Our server, Barry, who is a local, took great care of us, and the cher, Kirk, even came out to see how our meal was. I got the BLT with tots, and it was delicious! My friends’ lunch must have been equally good because we both ate everything on the plate! The atmosphere was excellent, with planes coming and going. Plus, it was a beautiful, blue sky day, without a cloud in sight. It’s worth the stop even if the weather wasn’t so good.

Nice place, friendly staff. Food was pretty good, just a little over done on the eggs. We had breakfast, but will be back to try their lunch for sure.

A favorite place to take the kids for plane spotting or a fly-in lunch. The classic $100 hamburger fly-in restaurant. Model RC airplanes hang from the ceiling and huge windows overlook every aspect of the airport including the Army’s Nation Guard helicopter taking off from across the way. Excellent service and food as to be expected for this type of affair. Glad to see this pillar of the community continuing to stay strong and inspire future aviators.

I wanted to like this place. I’ve heard good things about it before. It’s a gorgous setting overlooking the airport. You can watch a plane take off or land.

A small restaurant with great views of the municipal airport runway. We watched a WW-II era single-prop fighter and an EMT plane take off while our meals were being prepared. My wife ordered the Reuben sandwich and I ordered the lite Salmon plate, which was nicely done. The Reuben sandwich had slaw and fries loaded into the sandwich, my wife commented that more slaw in the sandwich and fries on the side would be an improvement. We both ordered specialty drinks – she had an Irish Mud and I had a standard Margarita, both were good! The restaurant is family friendly and a nice option from a standard downtown venue, check it out sometime!
