Very picky about my ramen. Everything was good but I don’t like it when the ramen broth is too salty. I gave a 4 star but it really should be a 3 1/2 for high sodium in the soup. Had an option for thin noodles or thick. We didn’t notice a difference on the noodle size. Bathroom was clean in the ladies room. It’s a little too dark for me inside the restaurant. Staff was good. Parking in the area is a little hectic.

I would have went higher with my review if the service was better. I was the only person in there and the sever never asked if I wanted my drink refill or check on me.

The tonkotsu and gyoza gave me the scoots. Why go back when there are so many different options?

So I was at home contemplating food for the evening with my hunbun and she mentioned Ramen. Now between the two of us we have gone to a few different ramen shops here in Vegas. This time I figured we could go to one closer to home. Kokoro Ramen is about 3 minutes away. I couldn’t be more happy making this choice. When we arrived we were greeted at the front door by the waitress and she asked if we were eating here or to go. I decided we could eat in since we weren’t doing anything at home anyway. We were seated in a nice little corner where we can enjoy the ambience of the restaurant. There was not many people in this day except one gentleman that said a table down from us. Before I can make any decisions on what I thought about the place already our waitress was back and ready to take our drink orders she requested what we wanted and in a flash was right back with it. I decided on a nice hot cup of green tea which was delectable. It didn’t take me long to figure out what I wanted to eat so I went with a traditional tonkatsu Ramen and I couldn’t help myself but to order the chicken karaage as well. As our waitress took away our menus I decided to sit and enjoy the beautiful decor of the restaurant So many lovely pictures and paintings that hung on the walls really gave the feel of actually being at a traditional Japanese ramen shop. But wouldn’t you know it before I could get too comfortable our waitress was already bringing out our freshly cooked ramen. As she sat it on the table I inhaled a deep breath just a bass in the finally developed broth that was sitting in front of me. The karage was looking oh so crispy and delicious as well. I broke my chopsticks to dig in and I fell in love. The flavor of the broth was so enticing and the noodles were so tender and well cooked. My pork was cooked to perfection as well. I pretty much lost myself within this bowl of ramen. Bite after bite I realized that I was going to become a regular at Kokoro. But this review isn’t actually about the food it’s really about the service that I received while I was there It wasn’t that many of us in attendance at the restaurant but our waitress made sure that we were well taken care of regardless of if we were eating or not made sure my drinks were filled and if we needed anything while we were eating. Service was sublime and just for that I will be returning to kokoro more often.

My wife and I stopped by craving Ramen. The place was a nice place in the wall that if you weren’t looking, you would just drive by. More so cause the big multi sign with all the shops in the area didn’t even have it. I ordered the black garlic and my wife got the Basile ramen. I really enjoyed my ramen, just the right amount of spice and the pork was nice and tender. A pleasant surprise was that they had fountain soda. I’m so used to can that this really made my day. I will be coming back.

They say dont love to deeply because it might hurt you but ramen noodles no matter how much you love it, it wont . Because ramen love, is a one way street it will keep on giving and you will just keep on slurping. The Black Garlic Ramen for instance is a heartbreaker filled with thick hot broth, the chasu so soft it instantly melts in your mouth and extra seaweed so good hearing its crunchiness, not to mention the fried garlic so good! But the moment its gone it will break your heart because you wish you have a bottomless pit for a stomach.

Tried Donkotsu ramen, kimchi fried rice, and takoyaki fries. Ramen was clean and not heavy taste. Frankly speaking, as authentic Japanese food follower, this ramen isn’t really traditional Japanese ramen but the food is well balanced and great. If you are not comfortable in other heavy greasy pork soup this place would be great for you. Kimchi fried was also clean and well made (Native korean approved lol). Takoyaki flavored fries were actually above than my expectations. This place is like a hidden jem. You must do experience here.
