Cracker Barrel has been a longtime favorite of mine and my whole family. I’ve been enjoying their homey atmosphere and their homemade style food for probably close to 40 years and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal there. The fried apples are the best and so is the hashbrown casserole–two things I order every time. And I can’t forget to mention their delicious Chicken & Dumplings–outstanding. If you’re ever in doubt about where to find a really satisfying meal, look no further than Cracker Barrel!

Wow…That was the worst Cracker Barrel experience I ever had. Our server was definitely having a bad day. Our food died in the window. It was cold and slimey by the time it hit our table. The greens I ordered tasted like they’ve been living in the back of the fridge for too long and had a weird smokey flavor which I can only assume came from cross contamination from some other food item that was stored nearby. It was totally disgusting. It’s going to be a long time before I’m brave enough to walk into another Cracker Barrel. I really used to love that place.
