Ever heard that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover? On the outside, Kang San looks as though it may not have anything to offer, however, it couldn’t be further from the truth. Once we sat down and perused the menu, and saw food presented to other guests, it was easy to see how they’ve been in business for so long. In fact, the lady has operated this restaurant for more than 20 years! She was lovingly working in the kitchen to serve authentic Korean food that is TO DIE FOR. Her kimchi is also homemade and tastes amazing. We would absolutely love to go again if we ever come back to South Dakota.

Was visiting town and called in because we were having a poker night!! I told her we needed a variety of food to feed 8 people!! She did an amazing job with portions, gave me side sauces for everyone, food was very flavorful!! Highly recommended very friendly told me she had been there over 20 years I can definitely see why!! Thanks for a great meal and spectacular service!!

Good food, the beef teriyaki was a good portion size. However, the service was lacking. The lady working was friendly to other customers, but not to my husband or myself. Wasn’t greeted and was barely spoken to by her. And the restaurant seating area was dirty.
