Lovely restaurant!! Tequila has the best food and most authentic Mexican recipes in Lancaster (in my opinion). Such flavorful food with the friendliest staff. Prices are more expensive at this location than on Roherstown Rd, but it is definitely more of an “upscale” restaurant. Would definitely recommend!!

7-20-2023 First visit; I went for a late lunch & was very pleased. Good food; I got the combo, listed under appetizers. I also got chips & salsa, and beans. A bit pricey & they charge for every extra – but food WAS good, fresh & hot. They have a nice bar area, big fun dining room, and shaded back patio area. For people looking for restaurants that can seat large groups – this is it! But they were nice & attentive to a solo diner as well. My only critique is with their payment process. They bring a card reader to the table and they hold it while you use your card and you have to decide and enter your tip while they are right there; awkward!! I’ll definitely be returning for another feast!

Our first time… and not what we would’ve expected. A wide variety of options on the menu, but things were a little on the pricey side. $20-25 for fajitas with meat that was a bit fatty and an extra $2.25 for some shredded cheese on top. Atmosphere was cool, but it was also very chaotic and seemed as if they were cramming in as many customers as possible, bringing in outdoor patio tables to seat customers inside. Nothing too special about the restaurant.

Overall, the restaurant is decent, however there were a few things that weren’t so great.

My husband and I had dinner here on a Tuesday night and the experience was phenomenal. Our waiter, Marvin, was the best waiter I think we’ve ever had at any restaurant. He was polite, attentive & helpful. The food was also amazing, we had the chicken quesadilla and a few variations of their tacos. My husband ordered a strawberry margarita which he was raving about the whole time. We will definitely be back.

We did not like this place. The atmosphere is great. It’s a brand new building brand new restaurant homemade shares very nice atmosphere five stars. However the service and food left a lot to be desired. Maybe it’s just because it’s a new restaurant but we ordered a lot of food and the appetizer came after the entrée and it came cold hand on me. Ask the waitress why it came late. She said that that’s because she was busy but we did not like that because the appetizer came cold and they did not give us any discount. And then we asked for hot sauce and they charged us for hot sauce three dollars which I think is absurd. We also got nachos and they didn’t put any guacamole on the nachos or any sour cream, or any jalapeños? It was a very odd Mexican restaurant, that being said, would I come back maybe in a year once they sort things out but for now I think I probably won’t come back for now. They also charged us extra on the receipt and I had to point out that they made a mistake which we told the manager who was walking around and he did not seem to care about any of the issues that we had. Anyhow I still tipped the waitress 20% even tho they def did not deserve that.

The food was ok. The service was ok. Atmosphere a bit over the top. The worst part was staff standing around having conversations. Looking at their text messages. The kitchen is the place to laugh and carry on. Not in front of customers. My Jumbo margarita was mostly ice, in a heavy square goblet. Maybe 5 oz of mix and maybe (but probably not) a shot of tequila. All in all I’ll go elsewhere.

New owners do not include chips and salsa complimentary. Now, for $4.50 you get a small bowl of chips and a small cup of watered down salsa. The food tasted okay but definitely was not five star. And for Mexican restaurant I would expect somewhat spicy food, but this food has zero heat to it. Margaritas were okay but if you wanted top shelf ingredients they were $18. For these reasons I cannot recommend this restaurant.

We had been pleased enough with our first two visits to return for a third. Although the place was not very busy, after 20+ minutes we had succeeded in getting one glass of water. Our food order had not even been requested. So we left.

This is the second time we have been at this location. We always sit at the bar. The food is great, but your bartenders need improvement. They are to focused on talking to each other and the rest of the wait staff instead of doing their job. So this area needs improvement.
