I ordered two quarter pound kings. It was advertised 2 for _ (signage not complete). I go to Burger King often in Georgetown but my mom is new in Austin visiting so we traveled south to see my brother. I was charged $5.19 for each burger so I drove back around with my receipt in hand. The manager Clifford was extremely rude and told me if I wanted the special I should’ve told them when I ordered. Then He insisted to use my name during my complaint so I obliged. I’ve never had to tell a restaurant what to charge me, especially when it is advertised. Then most restaurants would correct the charge when the error was acknowledged but he told me it was too late because I already paid. I am normally not one to complain but this level of service was unacceptable. He was not at all apologetic and blamed us for the error. I’m disappointed, and saddened by the service received at an establishment that marketing that claims to value their customers.

I just want to point out the man making the burgers was not wearing gloves!! I saw him make many sandwiches with no gloves. That’s gross and against a food handlers license. Something needs to be done about that. Restrooms were closed down. The ketchup machine and the fountain drinks were out of order.

When I ordered small drink and large fries Clifford asked if I said small fries and a large drink I said no and corrected him since he got it backwards. Well he must have a few screws loose or just does not listen because he gave me the opposite of what I asked for. It wasn’t busy either, shouldn’t have been that hard to remember a simple order.

Google & their sign on the window shows they close at 11pm today. We pull up through the drive they at 10:48pm and no one is responding. We go on the side of the building to try and see if anyone is in there and instead of helping us out, they see us and turn off the lights. Even turn off the lights at the drive thru.
