No prices on menu. No check at end, just told us the total and then made it higher when we went to pay. Felt like they’re just seeing how much they can grab from a customer not willing to make a scene. Mediocre food isn’t worth feeling like you were taken advantage of.

There service is the worst ,this use to be a great place to eat. Now it’s trash there is no food meaning you ask for something and thry don’t have it you basically have to eat what they have. No fish no fried chicken. Nada.

This is not going to be a nice review, because the Latin star I remembered from the 80s 90s or maybe the early 2000s is not what it used to be. It’s a dead rotting caucus shell of what it used to be, the food is mediocre at best and the service is horrendous. I will never be going back there.

Staff are very unprofessional and unfriendly. There was a misunderstanding with my order and had to drive back to reorder again without an apology. I ended up paying $30, what a joke. The food is average and nothing new. The lady behind the counter didn’t speak any english, which was frustrating in addition to the looks they were giving me. I strongly recommend hiring someone that speaks both languages.

Kind of felt like I was bothering the women for actually coming in and ordering something they seem to have had a problem with the fact that I didn’t speak enough Spanish to appease them and only one of the younger women helped me they overcharged me for my milkshakes and their Beans really doesn’t have any flavor their meat was old and I just felt like they didn’t even want me there really so maybe I won’t go back for $6 milkshakes you know they charged me $22 for oxtails with rice and nothing else and treated me like it was not even worth them helping me out so Latin star has a lot of customer service issues I don’t think that they like people from out of the neighborhood really sad because they could have a bigger and booming better business if they just reached out a little bit you know I myself am a personal assistant financial advisor as well as a publicist promoter for restaurants clubs bars and any type of venue I’ve worked at places like Mount Fuji I’ve worked at places like Angelo’s in Pearl River I’ve done Bader’s Goldbergs I’ve had places under my belt as far as you know four brothers in suffering I’ve worked for Cheesecake Factory in White Plains Morton’s in White Plains ran bars like o’henry’s in Rye New York I’ve held a personal venues in events for people that are attending to PNC theater going to concerts and then having a after party I just felt like a unwelcome.
