We have ordered several times it’s really according to what you get I guess but we ordered some large ice creams $15 and the cups were not half full order was suppose to be ready in 5-10 mins waited 15 on top of the 10 mins to get the half full cups ♀️

I was in town last Saturday, for a fundraiser, and needed something to eat for lunch. As I drove around town, I passed this place and seen it was busy and I thought this must be, ‘the’ local hotspot, so I turned around and pulled in.

Unclean. They don’t wash their hands before they serve people. I had to walk out immediately after seeing the owner smoke, text on the phone, then return to kitchen and start serving. Did not sanitize her hands. They don’t wear gloves at all.

The food is usually awesome and reasonably priced for what you get. Love the handmade burgers and tenderloin sandwiches. There’s some sketchy workers and homeless people at times, but it is Mt Vernon. We still eat there every week or so, it’s one of our favorite places.

Interior was dirty and cluttered. The staff seemed very confused about how to accept an order and frankly incompetent. There were at least 3 people working in a disorganized fashion, and we still had a 15 minute wait for our order when there was hardly any other customers. The fried food was fresh and tasted fine. The hamburger was low quality meat with multiple hard bits of cartilage or bone throughout the patty. Would avoid this place if I were starving and they were the only option. I was shocked at how challenging the staff made the ordering process.
