Frost Bite was recently sold and the new owners are changing the food and ice cream! I always ordered a strawberry milkshake. It was good quality thick ice cream, and was full of strawberries. I ordered a strawberry shake today, it was extremely thin, taste like ice milk, and had no strawberries. My wife and kids always order chocolate shakes. They said the shake was thin and runny, and doesn’t taste the same. They have also changed their tenderloins, and are using a different vendor for the sandwich buns. Cheese has always been free on your tenderloin, be prepared to pay $0.75 now! The new owners are looking to cut cost, so they can make more money! We will never go back to Frost Bite again! I’d highly recommend you go elsewhere, and hopefully the new owners will change the food and ice cream back to what it was before they bought it, or go out of business! They also bought another location, but not sure where yet.

Out of most fried food. Ordered spicy cheese balls/marinara and 2 coney dogs with everything. Waited 14 minutes. Got reg cheese curds with ranch and 2 hot dogs with just chili. Didn’t ask for money back, just gave them the food and left. Great for ice cream but nothing else

They have really good ice cream. That’s literally the only thing I’ve ever gotten there was Ice cream. My mom says they have a really good pork tenderloin. But I haven’t had that yet but I went in and got an Oreo cookie freezer or what they call milkshakes frosties I don’t know what they call them there but it was pretty damn good.

This place is generally a nice place to eat ice cream and hang out; but as an outdoor restaurant, it is ridiculous for my party and I to be told multiple times to quiet down. I understand that taking drive thru orders can be more difficult with background noise, but if that is the case then relocate your seating away from your speaker box. This type of service is ridiculous and is easily my last time going here. I Couldn’t be more disappointed.

New ownership changed a lot of the reasons this place has been around for so long. Changed up the menu, bagged Dippin Dots, table umbrellas tied closed so they don’t have to close them, no music, bird nests everywhere. Even the menu signage is horribly misspelled. Want a root beer foat? How about a beberage to go with the Dippin Dots that are actually arctic slushes?

We went through drive thru and I ordered my kids treats. I ordered a Diet Coke and decided to make it a float. The lady said that defeats the purpose doesn’t it and laughed! I said forget it. Absolutely rude. When we pulled around she had no room to discuss or judge anyone eating habits.

I can remember visiting FrostBite here since I was a little kid! The nostalgia in itself makes this place wonderful.. then you add in the smiling employees which makes it even better. I’ve never had a bad experience here, but tonight marked the best experience I’ve had in over 25 years. It was 30 – 45 minutes before closing (something I rarely do and typically something employees hate). We (two of us) went up to the window and were greeted by smiling faces even with it being cold and late at night! Marley began to help us order and offered great alternatives/additions to our ice cream orders. She was friendly, happy to help us, funny, and made us feel like if we had ordered with 5 minutes before closing, she wouldn’t have minded! An employee like Marley can be uncommon, so I hope FrostBite is valuing her as much as she is worth. Thank you, Marley, for making a date night that much better!
