Jerk chicken was flavorless. Healthy greens were crunchy with little to no seasoning. Beef patty filling wasn’t good or piping hot. Rice and beans were decent. For the price and lack of authenticity I cannot recommend it. Service was quick and the staff was friendly

An Executive For Hire
The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, and the vibe was great. It’s not an upscale joint but it is clean, classy, & irie! There’s indoor and outdoor seating, and they serve a fruity whiskey to write home about. The ginger pineapple drink was wonderful and spice was just right. If you’re not sure about your spice capacity this is real Jamaican so don’t play — start at mild and work your way up .

We wanted to try Janga. It was super windy, but we found an outdoor table up on the patio. We tried their recommended items: festival bread, mac and cheese balls, fried plantains. It was ALL good. My teen absolutely loved the shrimp and grits, which totally hit the spot on that day. Easily would return.

Love Janga!! We’ve been a few times and the food is always amazing, and the service is great too. They have great vegan options and yummy cocktails. The only thing is it’s a little spendy, but that’s on par with the rest of the neighborhood. Come during happy hour for great deals!

I love coming to places where service is quick and efficient and the food is made with intention. The first thing I noticed was getting water before asking. I love that. I came with a group of five women and we ordered the beef and chicken patties (A+), curry goat (A+), oxtail (A+), jerk chicken and shrimp combo (A+), and plantain (A+). The portions were great and the food came out piping hot. We also tried their cocktail drinks (wonderful) and the ginger pineapple drink (if you like ginger it’s a great drink). After our meal, the waitress was able to split our checks using a handheld card reader that verified our orders and ran our forms of payment. It was quick and painless. After our meal we were asked by the owner how the meal was and thanked for stopping by. These 5 stars were deserved! I WILL be going back soon.

Devoured my plate! Waitress was very sweet and the music was We ordered the rum punch, plantains, beef patty, spicy shrimp plate and curry goat. The greens and rum punch were 20/10 my favorite. The food was delicious as is well! If you’re looking for a flavorful and wholesome meal, this is the spot.
