I was traveling through west Virginia and stopped at the waffle house. I order a waffle and a side of becan, and I asked for the nation to be burned. The waitress brings the waggle to the table and informed me I wanted my meal to arrive as one. The waitress snatched the plate and threw the food in the trash. I requested to speak with the manager, and the manager arrived and started putting in another order. I advised the manager I would speak with her after I received my order. After receiving my order the manager returned to speak with me, I informed the manager that the waitress was rude, and while speaking with the manager the employee began rudely speaking to me, the manager says to me reordered your and I explained that the food was not the issue but the behavior of the employee was and the lack of management leadership that allow the employee to speak to customer in the manner.

The waitress served us well (white lady). But the cook was AWFUL THE FOOD WAS BURNT and his attitude is pure of irony (old white guy, wearing a waffle house hat) I understand why the place was empty when I arrived. I will never return to this location

When I arrived there was a waitress outside talking to a customer. As I tried to walk in the door she cut me off to get inside. When we’re finally all inside I grabbed a menu and headed to the register to place my Togo order. The staff not once acknowledged my presence. They just kept going on and with I’m guessing is one of their regulars. I left and went to a different Waffle House. Was greeted upon entry and my order was taken right away.

I’ve never left a review before and definitely did not expect myself reviewing a Waffle House.I walked into the Waffle House and passed the cook as he stepped outside to go on a break. He greeted me and was nice. I asked him if they were doing take out only and was cut off by the Cashier Jennifer saying that, “Yes, we are going take out only, give us a minute, we’re getting busy” very rudely. I understand the business is getting busy and lack of staff, but it was just a question. I then decided to stand in line and the same lady was given the guy in front of me a hard time and was rude to him too. I just left after that because that’s not a way to talk to people.

Went after a show, and even though they were short a server, we got our food quickly. The cook was friendly and made my hash browns extra well done like I asked. The bathroom as clean and well stocked.

The atmosphere was a family talking about their drama loudly, the waitress was short with responses and long winded with explanations. The food was way overcooked to the point where it wasn’t even edible. I will not be returning to this location.

Service was uncomfortable and food was horrible. Haven’t experienced a waffle house like this before and it’s disappointing. Having to deal with a racist remark + burnt&undercooked food definitely convinced me to stay away from this place.
