Food was ok. My burrito was supposed to be smothered in a white queso. My burrito was smothered in basically a watered down queso, so runny and thinned, I couldn’t even taste the cheese. It also made the tortilla soggy. Not very good. The chicken in the burrito was flavored well.

I was in Sioux City this weekend visiting a close friend who attends WITCC. We checked on the reviews before going. We we’re not disappointed. Everything was excellent. I definitely will be go back when I’m in Sioux City again.

Not as authentic as some of the smaller Mexican places in town, but good food, great atmosphere, great service. Perfect for a family or group to have a sit down meal…or a date night.

Wonderful local place with delicious food. I had the Chori Pollo with a light cheese sauce. Our waitress was polite and attentive. We got lucky and they were running a special on all draft beer for only a buck! Can’t beat that. Wish I was a local so I could return more often.

My dinner at El Tapatio was good and reasonably priced. I ordered the flautas, which had a nice fried shell with chicken inside, and were complimented by the sour cream and guacamole. The accompanying rice and beans were fine, and the margarita was generous.

In town for work…across from the Hyvee where I was shopping. Mid afternoon…so quick “to go” service. Thinking about the “jug of margaritas to go” as advertised…..hmmmmm. 🙂 Food was good. Staff not very personable….
