Both food and staff are awesome. I was with a group and sampled 6 different dishes. Literally everything was great. And Linda explained a lot about the food, the restaurant and her own Italian background. She was such a sweetheart. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Great little Italian place. With amazing service. We literally couldn’t decide what to get because we wanted to try everything. We settled on the gnocchi and the carbonara and they were really good. As was the tiramisu for dessert.

Excellent food. No one can beat their tagliatelle and their lasagna is rich and delicious. Best tiramisu in town (I know a fancy Italian restaurant in Austin that can’t get their tiramisu right so I really appreciate Artipasta).

I’m a little torn about this place. On one hand I could tell that what they cook and put out was done with expertise and the service was nice, but on the other I’m a little bummed with how small the portions are and that they are microwaving the food right in view of the customers. I expected microwaves in an Applebees but for a smaller, well known Italian restaurant claiming to serve authentic pasta it’s a little jarring.

Let’s just put it this way – I’m originally from Italy, and this is the closest experience I’ve had in the United States eating REAL Italian food in more than a decade! The pasta is artfully home made from scratch, the sauces are true to form what you would eat back in Italy, you can taste that they use quality ingredients, presentation is fantastic yet without making a fuss, and the service was as warm and friendly as it gets. I honestly don’t think you can get a better plate of pasta in Austin. Do yourself a favor and EAT THE CANNOLI! I got to meet the owners (honest to God Italians, not the usual third-generation removed from the motherland), and they were so welcoming. Linda at the cash register was an absolute delight too!
