This place has the best breakfast burritos in the Denver area. The owner and staff are very kind and a joy to visit. The prices are very reasonable and you get a filling amount of food. My favorite is the egg potato, and chorizo with hot green chile! (The green chile is excellent) you gotta stop into Mercedes, you wont be disappointed.

Husband brought home some breakfast burritos from this place on a whim wanting to try em and they were the Bomb!!! they have their own little something with a distinct smokey flavor that was absolutely delicious!! A little pricey but well worth it!! Wish they were open a little bit later, but that’s irrelevant considering the satisfaction that comes with their food. Keep doing your thang! It’s WORKING! 5 stars!

Tried it today for the first time…what a pleasant surprise! Awesome authentic Pork Carnitas tacos and delicious smothered burrito (the salsa is amazing). Will recommend and also will be back soon 🙂

We went at 10:30 am place was finally open we were the only customers 2 of us I ordered a beef taco and tostada my mom ordered one enchilada beans and rice. The waitress was very sweet and came to tell us they ran out of beef. Ok so I got a steak taco and my mom got a cheese and onion enchilada. It took about 25 Minutes for our food to come the enchilada was absolutely disgusting the chili was so red like blood looked like tomato paste no flavor, as long as it took for the food to come you would have thought the cheese would be melted in the enchilada no it was not just cold cheese. We will not be back as I can’t call this Mexican food as a Chicano growing up in the Mexican culture and food this is very sad.

In the search for the best breakfast burrito in wheat Ridge, Mercedes has entered the chat. The owner has ties to El Jefe, but there’s space for dining in and the breakfast burrito prices are great. We had an Egg, potato, and cheese burrito and a Bacon, egg, potato, and cheese burrito. My only advice is to order to your true chili spice level. The hot was hot and the medium was not mild in the slightest. The burritos were big and you’ll leave satisfied.
