The food options are plentiful, as long as you do not arrive too late. About 2 hours before closing, the restaurant menu options start becoming limited. Of course, Friendly’s is most famous for its ice cream.

We were just looking for someplace to eat and saw Friendly’s and got super excited. Our service was excellent!!!! There were only two servers in the place and there had to be more than thirty people and these two Ladies were killing it along with the cook and dishwasher….. Hats off to them for holding it down on a very rainy Sunday …. Forgot to mention the one waitress was also serving the pick up window as well

I only had one wish and that was Friendly’s had more customers. Great food Great ice cream . Totally hope more people go out to eat at Friendly’s . Needs to happen so they can keep the doors open. Many of these stores have closed in New Jersey. It would be heart breaking .

Took four teens to a lunch . Started out pretty well. Then noticed the restaurant started to filled and the service went down hill. we basically waited over 15 to get check / ice cream. Waited another 10 to check out . You can’t run a business with three workers that includes one of them being the manager…… that was my Icecream all melted because they took so long .

Just some ice cream after a date night with my lil one. It was about an hour before closing and it was pretty crowded. The service was okay but the reason for my review was the amount of time it took to get my check and receipt.

So my nephew’s birthday I always take him somewhere of his choice. No matter the cost or location. He ask to go to Friendly’s because he loves the burgers, chicken fingers and ice cream/ milkshake. When we get to the eatery we wait, for over five minutes two employees a couple of times, walk past never greet us matter of fact never acknowledged our presence! They were not busy as there were only three tables with customers eating, they had already been served. Finally we ask can we be seated. We are greeted not warm but very cold. We are walked past all the other tables to the back corner of the restaurant. I was thinking maybe because of social distance we are placed there. But I look around everyone else is placed at tables back to back as more customers come in they were all placed up front and close together. As a black woman/family and the others were non black, I took offense to this situation. Our food arrived later than others, the food temperature was not up to proper temperature. The burgers were over cooked ( which we never were asked how we wanted them). Fries were cold, the soup was lukewarm. The shakes were perfect. The fish and chips cold. I was very disappointed at this visit. Despite the service we still left 20% tip. Because that’s how was raised. To be kind, thoughtful generous and treat ppl the way you want to be treated . And just because you were treated unfair you don’t have to reciprocate the same behaviors that was given. Lavish them with kindness.

All the Friendly’s restaurants where we live have closed, so it was wonderful to see their familiar sign while visiting Doylestown, Pennsylvania. My daughter enjoyed her favorite chicken quesadillas, and I ordered the ultimate grilled cheese sandwich. As always, the service was FRIENDLY.
