I’ve had better ones. These are too bready. We got Jalapeño chicken empanadas, and the chicken was dry and tasted very mediocre.

It was the Mushroom and ChIcken empanadas for me. So yummy and flavorful. Pretty expensive but I would buy it again. The salsa Verde and the Cheesesteak were just ok. I just sat and people-watched. This review does not reflect the service. I was not impressed especially since some employees are vegan so they haven’t tried the empanadas. But I love that the food is consistent.

Don’t. Just don’t. Empl acted like she was doing us a favor. Ok so no big deal, we all have bad days. Apple empanada was horrible. Gummy flavorless dough, apples were also flavorless and undercooked. Waste of $6.

I often come to the Americana to drop off my kid at the movies and be with friends. I don’t live that close by so I stay until the movie ends. So I usually do laps and maybe read a book, then I get hungry. Nona’s is perfect for me because it’s healthy, not pricey, perfect size, and tastes so good. My faves are the asada, cheesesteak, and cheese and spinach.
