I have gone to Pompei so many times, it is a family favorite. We don’t live in the area anymore but anytime we are in Bayonne to visit, we have to stop here. Before you even enter the building you can smell the freshly made dough from outside. The RC cola pairs perfectly with a plain pie. It’s a classic Italian plain cheese pizza with the perfect cheese to sauce ratio. No weird extra flavors to try and change it up. Do not even need to order ahead. It’s best freshly cooked and doesn’t take that long

I have gone here often. This time the pizza was really burnt. I’ll try them again later and hope it’s better. Well I went back tonight and the pizza was horrible. It was really burnt, it was like eating plywood. My girlfriend and I both feel nauseous.
