Came to this place on a whim and was absolutely blown away. It’s a real hole in the wall vibe but the food is incredible. Everything is homemade including the hot sauces, chips, and salsa. The birria tacos and “quezabirria” were awesome, best consome I’ve had by far and whatever cheese they use is so full of flavor and melts perfectly. Meat was very tender. Also had the homemade horchata which was great and very peanuty. Totally recommend. (Note, it came with 4 tacos)

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I ordered the birria Tacos, a Pastor torta, and a carnitas Sope. The sope was very good, great flavor throughout. The torta was even better, fresh bread and wonderful flavoring. The tacos were the best of all. Outstanding flavor and great texture. And the guy taking my order was jellyfish and very personable. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 9.1

A little Mexican restaurant, the menu is extensive- the prices were high! for the proportions served at the location. Beer or wine-any Alcoholic drink was pricey. Your basic margarita, small was $15. One order was a beefsteak fajita. The portion small and served without tortillas- for the first time ever! The other order was two Gordito’s, they were tasty but nothing at all came with it such as frijoles or even a spoonful of guacamole – also a first!

I lived South of Los Angeles for a couple years and the food and Taconeando is as good as any I had out west. Specifically, the pastor tacos are to die for. Loved the chips and salsa they served as soon as I sat down. The chips are freshly fried tortillas. Amazing. Great service, fun atmosphere with Mas Musica playing on tv. Will definitely be back.

We were so lucky to find this place! This is by far the best Mexican food we’ve had in Rhode Island. Ingredients were fresh and tasted great. Margarita’s were high quality — a little pricy but worth it. If I had one complaint, the salsa wasn’t that great. Ok, just not as good as everything else.

Don’t sleep on this place! It’s a stones throw from work and I’m so glad I found it. The taco tuesday special is available everyday and what’s better if you want taco tuesday on the other 6 days…nothing. The three steak tacos plus two beef are amazing flavor and fresh. Plus you get a soda for under 10 bucks! The service is also very friendly.

This place is phenomenal. That small town touch with incredible food. The interior is small and cozy, has an awesome little bar setup and the food is absolutely incredible. I’ve had birria tacos across most of New England but these guys are unrivaled. I tell anyone and everyone who will listen how amazing this place is.
