I COULD HAVE DIED! I am disappointed in the quality of food I received at D&A Hawaiian BBQ. As you can see, I was enjoying my food when I notice this rusty piece of wire-like metal in my food. I am lucky I spotted it before chewing and or swallowing it. Needless to say, I don’t recommend this place!! Please go anywhere else!!!

The food isn’t terrible but the service is abysmal! Rude and not flexible with the orders at all. It takes forever to get your food and it’s expensive. The worst part are the employees. There just aren’t engaged and don’t seem to care about the customers

Terrible place to go during lunch hours. Ordered well ahead of time online to receive my food before the lunch rush and spent more than an hour waiting for my food. Finally, when I went up to get a refund all of sudden my food was ready. Cashiers get bothered when asked over and over if our food is ready which is understandable but we get just as frustrated as we only have a couple minutes to eat lunch. What’s the point of ordering ahead of time if we’re going to end up waiting the longest.

Best takeout we got during our Santa Maria trip! We saw the coupon on the back of a Food Maxx receipt (in the same plaza) and we’re so glad that we came by for lunch. The wait time can be a bit long (over 20 min) during lunch hours but the food is delicious! Will come back next time we are in town.

I have got to stop eating the food before I take the picture this was so good it’s fresh and they gave me a lot of food I was expecting to be cheated out of my money like most hawaiian barbecue places but this one gave me more food than I was expecting so I have no complaints on the price. Macaroni salad could use some salt. Staff was fast and friendly. Clean facility. If im ever in Santa Maria again i will return.

PAID EXTRA MONEY FOR MORE SHORT RIBS AND THIS IS WHAT THE COOKS GIVE ME?! Is this a joke like honestly the cooks need to stop acting selfish as if they pay for the meal . The ladies behind the register are amazingly friendly and professional but the cooks need to get fired . didn’t even seem like they cared when I brought it to there attention just laughed about it as if they knew what they’re doing .
