The tap room is located beside the Fairfield Suites by Marriott in Fairfield. It appeared to be a welcoming bar from the exterior. My husband enjoyed a glass of sour beer and a BBQ bacon burger, which he really liked. I requested the server to prepare the Cajun shrimp fettuccine with macaroni noodles instead, and it turned out to be surprisingly tasty with a generous portion. The margarita was enjoyable, but the spiked Peach special cocktail was slightly sour. We would definitely return to this place on our next trip.

Was not overly impressed with the food. I had the Birria tacos. The consume must be spot on if you are going to serve Birria tacos. Unfortunately, this consume was runny and flavorless. The fried pickles and olives were decent. My friend had a rueben sandwich, which she liked. She said the fries were so-so. I didn’t try it, but that is what I would have ordered had it not been Taco Tuesday. The service was fine, the place was clean and I liked the ambiance. There was a very good-looking girl working behind the bar. Had I been alone, that is where I would have sat! I will try the place again when I feel like having a beer.

We chose to visit this taproom because of a craving for Sliders. I saw great reviews about the Sliders online. When we arrived there was a sign, advertising the slider special. Once we were seated and ready to order, we were told they no longer had sliders and hadn’t for over a week. I was disappointed but we stayed to try something else. We both got beer flights which were good but the food was extremely bland. We got beer battered jalapeño poppers, a patty melt with fries and a pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. The batter on the poppers was not seasoned at all and badly needed it. The meat in the patty melt was not seasoned and we had to add salt and pepper. The pulled pork was also lacking seasoning but the pineapple and bbq helped. The fries were the best tasting items we ate. Our waitress was nice and apologized about the sign. I would not recommend this place for food, but they have a decent selection of beers that included a porter.

The food was whole, prepared well, and tasted fresh. For me personally, I thought it was a bit underseasoned, hence the 4 stars. I did get the food to go, so I didn’t have an opportunity to add salt/pepper, in their defense. We had the panko fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and the wagyu beef burger with regular fries. The fries (both) were also underseasoned. We would eat here again! Service/atmosphere while ordering and waiting was fantastic!

The food was great and the server was very nice. She was the only one running the bar and hosting and serving while also trying to buss tables and clean. It took her a while to get to us but we understood she was by herself. She did an awesome job for being on her own. I plan on returning in the future.

We went somewhere else before. They sat us at a table, and no one came and even said anything to us, not even we will be right with you. The servers just kept walking by us. We sat their for 20 minutes. So we left. We came to the Slanted tree. They were very busy but the service was very good. Food and drinks were awesome. We will definitely be back!
