First time yesterday after hearing so many locals rave about it. I’m new to Simi, moved here April of 2022 and live right down the street. I can’t believe it took me over a year to try but I’m glad I finally did. The cheesesteaks are absolutely delicious, especially with the white American cheese. They’re served hot, right off the griddle. The owner and employees are very friendly and personable and that goes a long way.

5 stars plus! Tasty and fresh shaved meat, veggies & bread! You can tell it’s fresh cut. Very friendly service. Ayla can tell you all you wish to know about anything on the menu and fun to chat with. Very clean establishment. We got such great service on top of the best Philly cheesesteaks! Definitely going again sometime! My child had planned to go to a chicken place but that all changed once we got here and he saw the demos and heard more about the rib eye meat.

Ayla was my host and explained how great and good this place is..I ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and some potato chips that are fresh and made there and the sandwich and chips were Delicious! I highly recommend Steak & Hoagie. I will definitely come back and tell my family and friends about this great place.

Guy at the counter (I’m guessing the owner) was very nice. I felt welcome and I could tell they guy was proud of the food. He walked me through the menu I ordered the PMC and added Jalapeños. He offered me some house made marinara and it definitely smacked on the sandwich. I would have liked the bread a little less soggy but overall I highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for an east side classic.

We finally decided to try this place for lunch the other day. So glad we did. The staff is super friendly. Food was great, there was a lot of menu options to choose from. Ordered the originally Phill cheese steak and my son said it was the best burger he had ever had!!! also ordered the fried zucchini and it was really good. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and that the owners take pride in there restaurant. will defiantly be back.
