This place was recommended to me, so I decided to try it. Walking in I was greeted with a beautiful smile, and service that was top notch. The young lady that took me to my seat said i was in luck as she was going to serve me, and ensure i was going to be 100% satisfied. Having two different barbecue meats mashed potatoes and a side salad, I had to waddle out of the place. 100% satisfied!

Haven’t been there in a while and we were quite pleased with the renovations that we’re made. Seating was not so cramped and dim lighting. Also liked the fact that menu’s we’re at the table and not hurried to pick your meal choice off a menu on a blackboard was a huge plus for us. We were quite pleased and will definitely be returning. Decent prices too!

When you walk into this restaurant it feels like the twilight zone. The lighting is super weird and feels like you’re in a cafeteria. It is a huge restaurant with big walls and not a single thing on the walls, not a single painting, not a single tv, only a huge clock. There is no music, and all together the atmosphere was awful. Oh and they use nacho cheese on the crilled chicken breast and anything else that is covered in cheese.

Plum Creek is the most popular place in Beloit, we came here for dinner after working on site for 11 hours, from out of town. I had the chicken fried steak and fries and a house salad, my teammate had medium rare steak, shrimp, baked potato and house salad. I asked for onion to be put on the salad and they obliged. It took a long time for our waitress to come to us and after our order it took over an hour for food to get there. The reatsurant is pretty big,lots of tables and booths. We noticed that take out orders are very popular. We saw multiple trips of take out boxes every few minutes, i wiuld say at least 25 boxes. And there were a lot of people waiting in line all the time. I think sometimes people actually sitting in the restaurant, may wait a while for their food because of the take out orders. They use packets for salt, pepper, ketchup and mustard. I was undecided between 3 and 4 stars. There’s not a lot to look at in the restaurant, I would think if they are going to take so long to deliver food, they may want to get some decorations or some TVs. After working for so many hours I found myself getting sleepy towards the tail end of waiting for my food.

Went for dinner and service was great and our steaks were super yummy. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Only complaint is I ordered the “grilled vegetables” side and they were well seasoned mushy mixed veggies. Would rather them just be upfront so I can choose something different. But the steak filled me up so I wasn’t too worried about my disappointing veg.
