I went here for the first time since we moved to the Forney area almost a year ago; I was in the area and it sounded good. Unfortunately, this one did not have the same “quality” as other Taco Bueno locations I’ve been to. I ordered (via the drive thru) the chicken chilada platter. What I received had no chili sauce and was only covered in queso, shredded cheese, and pico de gallo; and the chicken was battered (and I’m assuming fried…?). I’ve never had a chicken chilada platter from a Bueno that used battered chicken, so that was really strange (also, do they even have anything on their menu that uses battered chicken??). The chips that came with the platter were also burned/over-done. I don’t go to Taco Bueno very often at all (maybe 2-3x in a year), but it’s going to take some serious cravings for me to want to go back to this location.

Went here for a Father’s Day breakfast, Dad’s. It was very early in the morning and we were the only customers there. We ordered two chicken tacos one chicken salad they couldn’t get the order the right and made a beef salad instead. They were real nice about making a new salad but it seemed a little weird to get wrong, maybe they were hungover.

This place was first for me and my family. The food was bland. Their hottest hot sauce was bland and had no heat. The salsa and cheese dip was spicier. The rest of the dips were bland. It’s not that they were bad just bland and very forgetful.

Simply put cassy just said she could remake our order on the phone because the first time they made it they made an error and gave us the wrong food. So unprofessional. Then Cassy who was working the window and phone today at this time allowed us to drive 30 minutes to the restaurant claiming it would be remade and when pulling up she said since the receipt got wet and the numbers for the month of the date wasn’t in there that we had unfortunately wasted our time and gas and money prior to this second mistake because we never got the correct food. Whoever or whatever type of management this place is under needs a real evaluation. Just so unprofessional and as I drove off mad as I should be she said yea don’t come back or she will spit in our food. Just insane what Terrell city allows for it’s food industries. Terrible. I’ll be calling better business also.

Taco Bueno is the best fast food Mexican food restaurant around. I live in Northport, Alabama and have to take some back with me every time I visit friends and family in Abilene. They need to put some in Tuscaloosa & Northport. There are 38,000 college students attending the University of Alabama and they would eat there all the time. Plus Tuscaloosa has an extra 100,000 football fans visit every home football game.

Food was good, service was very slow. It was not busy when we arrived. We placed our order, made our drinks and found a table. We then waited almost 15 minutes for our food. This seemed like a very long time. Usually they call our number by the time we sit at a table.
