We were in Piedmont for business and I had the opportunity to stop at The Zephyr Cafe for lunch. On special they had a Strawberry Almond Grilled Chicken salad. I love these type of salads so I was excited. I was NOT disappointed. Wow. Plenty of chicken, plenty of strawberries and blueberries. Plenty of shaved almonds…..and just enough dressing that it didn’t overpower the salad and make it slimy. Also,, I absolutely loved the atmosphere. Because the town is so small, everybody knows each other. I loved hearing the waitstaff call the guests by their name. The young lady that served me,(I wish I would have gotten her name) was absolutely wonderful. She was very attentive, offered up information on the specials and made sure I had plenty of water and coffee. If you are in the area, I highly recommend Zephyr cafe for Breakfast and lunch

Well worth making it a plan! Had a very good Ruben, nicely well-grilled like I love. Also got a great tasty big double cheese burger to go. It was very good beef and another meal on it’s own. Other plates I saw looked good as well and it’s all bargain-priced IMO. I don’t know how often I can get to Piedmont (LOL) but will hope for a chance to return here for more good food! Positive downhome classic American cafe vibe. Made my day really.
