I have eaten at many Golden Corals across the country. We visited this location on a Tuesday night. We had the worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. When we arrived, there were no clean tables. We had to bus our own and wipe it down with napkins. No one came to check on us or refill our drinks for our entire stay. The manager passed us many times and didn’t ask us how everything was. He passed several tables that had piles of dirty plates on them. The labels on the food selections were all off or missing entirely. I saw a sign that said oatmeal but it was clearly white rice. We were there at dinner time so I’m sure oatmeal wasn’t even on the menu. The silverware was out and I witnessed several people asking for it along with clean plates. Many items were empty and never refilled. The food was mediocre at best. And the kicker was when we left, my son opened the exit door and asked why is wood on the door. On the outside of the boarded up door, it said “door”. Lol! I am including a pic of my receipt to prove that I was there. For the amount of money they charge, they need to do better.

I’ve never had a bad experience at a Golden Corral until today. The food was horrible, selection and preparation. The mashed potatoes looked more like the consistency of chunky water. The chicken looked dangerously under cooked. The floors everywhere we walked were ridiculously sticky. It literally reminded me of the buffet from National Lampoons Vegas Vacation, when Cousin Eddie took Clark to the cheapest buffet in vegas and they had different color vats and trays of slime. Just horrible. I feel like corporate needs to take an unannounced trip to this store to see how bad it really is. Eat here with caution.

First time visitor. 30 min wait on Sun. morning, which was expected. Food disappointed. Fried chicken came out hot, fresh–and pink. Mac n cheese was watery. Beef stew was ok, as were the fish and BBQ pork ribs. Buttery mashed potatoes, however stole the show. Servers lagged at clearing dirty plates. Most people I’ve spoken to said this place was nothing really special, and this visit confirmed it. I’d like to give it another chance.

Our waiter looked Hispanic, and had hoop earrings in both ears. It took him 20 minutes to get her first round of drinks and then another 20 minutes for our second round. Myself and my father-in-law and my wife and our landlord all watched our waiter as he quickly serviced other tables especially one that was really big with a family over five. As he came by at our table multiple times and picked up our dishes that we were done eating food off of him not once did he ask if we wanted refills or bring us any refill drinks back. The waiter tried to explain that he had the entire side to himself, but that wasn’t true as myself, my wife, my father in law and our land lord all watched other waitresses serving other tables. My wife and I both told the young man (our waiter) that he was not doing his job correctly and he laughed at both of us thinking it was funny. We then went to the front end manager, explaining our concerns and the horrible service. As the front end manager had a discussion with the young man (our waiter), he laughed in his face as we watched. Yes, we didn’t get a different waitress in the service. Got a little better. But still as a waiter or waitress as you serve your tables in a certain area of a restaurant, you should always keep an eye on the drinks to make sure they are filled unless a customer states that they don’t want any more to drink. We were there between 5 and 6 PM today. July 2, 2023 I did leave a similar review on yelp, but this one is more detailed. The waiters name was Joshua.

Very dirty, clean your restrooms. Tables full of dirty dishes, floor dirty. Food was overcooked and tasted old. Lazy employees. Not worth $22 a person for dinner. You would swear this building was 40 years old. Walls chiping paint; glass broken on doors, writing on the bathroom stalls. Slurpy machine was out of cups but had lids. No cotton candy. Worse deserts I’ve ever had. The old home town buffet was better then this place and I’d give it a 3 star.
