Cool place! The food was excellent. Apparently, they only have a brunch menu on Sunday. The burgers are really good: thick, tasty patties and good buns. The fries are delicious, and really unique. The Brisket Egg Benedict was good, too. Prices aren’t exactly cheap, but fits the quality of food + restaurant itself. It’s a very pleasant atmosphere, with a nice view out the many big windows. The service was great. The bar looks nice. Highly recommend!

Very good food and an interesting menu. High end sandwiches, burgers, and finer dining options. We had the tuna and the duck as entrees and poutine as an appetizer. Definitely going back. Our server was awesome. Food was fast and fresh.

The Farmhouse is a must when anywhere near Spearfish. The food is delicious. It is both creative and approachable. There is something for everyone and every occasion – nice dinner, casual lunch, brunch with friends, etc. The wine and cocktail lists have great options. The staff is top-notch. They are kind, knowledgeable, and they make it feel like you are a guest at their home.

If you have never been here…GO! The atmosphere is wonderful the service was great. The fact our waitress walked up with a warm welcoming smile was just amazing. For drinks I had the lavender lemonade fizz..would recommend (non alcoholic) we have chips and salsa and queso for an appetizer. The salsa is himemade and absolutely delicious and the queso was also excellent! I ordered The Dip…and OMG I have never had a French dip with so much flavor…and the au just *chef kiss* you could tell was made from the beef drippings it was also packed with flavor! I loved every part of our experience at The Farmhouse! We are going back in the morning for breakfast!

A very nice little bistro! We expected pricing to be more based off it being called a bistro, but everything was reasonably priced. Fabulous outdoor view through the many floor-to-ceiling windows! We went for Sunday Brunch, I had the brisket benedict while my husband had the breakfast burrito. Food was great and cooked well! The hollandaise was a bit too lemon-y for my taste, but I wouldn’t take off a star for a personal preference. The only thing that may have been a little disappointing was that my eggs were poached hard, but I didn’t mind as I’m not a huge runny yolk fan (shocker coming from someone who ordered a benedict lol). We’ll be back next time we are in the area!

Looking for a nice place to celebrate my birthday was a little difficult and I decided to try the Farmhouse Bistro. We arrived at around 6pm on a Tuesday and were seated quickly. They have a steady stream of diners, even during the week. I had a glass of wine although hoped to have a craft beer which they didn’t have. We both ordered a side salad which was really good (loved their creamy balsamic dressing). Pictured here are the French Dip and Fish and Chips (huge plate with more fries than a human should consume). Food was good, especially the Fish (Mahi Mahi) which was perfectly done. Service was superb! We recommend you try this restaurant and we would definitely come again. I would also recommend reservations on the weekend as I imagine it is more crowded.

So glad we settled on The Farmhouse! We sat outside for a lovely dinner looking out toward the creek. Our server, Michal, was friendly and attentive- and we enjoyed not one, but two of her namesake margaritas. My French Dip sandwich was delicious (very little fat in the beef – yay!), and my companion enjoyed his burger. We loved the sweet potato fries! I forgot to take a pic of the chocolate truffles… We highly recommend this dining experience!
