Pretty good spot. The Curry + Pickled veggies was honestly the best part of my meal. I could have just had that and would have been satisfied. Very minimalistic interior and self service. If that’s not your thing, might not be for you. I personally liked I could go, get lunch by myself and people watch from the second floor.

One of my favourite spots in Washington DC. They have delicious rice bowls, highly recommend their signature bowls. Easy ordering system through the kiosk with lots of seating above the main floor.

I really enjoyed finding this little gem. It’s pretty inconspicuous, but the food was great, the staff friendly and the joint has a lovely atmosphere to enjoy; spacious with lots of windows and natural light. Lovely.

I love this place so much. The food is absolutely phenomenal and the flavors are rich, savory and delicious. Most of the service is self serve because you place your order at the machine, grab a pager and seat yourself but it’s fine. The atmosphere is great, with a beautiful outlay, very nice music and a relaxing environment. I highly recommend.

Delicious Japanese food in DC. Good to pick up during your lunch break at work. The curry kara-age is to die for! The staff were friendly and accommodating!

The mixed donburi bowl was a good portion size to fill me up and it had a tasty sauce throughout the rice underneath. The tempura shrimp was very tasty with the side sauce served with it; The chicken was a little dry, but the same sauce made up for it. I also had the sashimi salmon and it was some of the best salmon I’ve had- super soft texture, very fatty and delicious. The place was well-decorated and very clean. You order at the door and then take a buzzer and you can sit at the upper level and enjoy the view out your window. Will be coming back for more!

The katsu coating was a little too flakey, but I enjoyed the dish! The curry was very runny and flavorful. The radish cut the strong flavor gracefully. Enjoyed it!

I really enjoyed the Ebi Katsudon. The shrimp was delicious, the rice piping hot, and the egg well cooked to order. Very nice staff. Seating is up a flight of stairs.

The 3 star rating is about my entire experience. So first when you walk in and have two digital kiosk to fill out your order. You then pay and go up either one or two floors and pick a seat. Unbeknownst to me, I then had to go back downstairs and pick up my food. I assumed they would at least bring it to the table or call my number but instead after waiting some time I saw others heading downstairs to go get their food.
