Hospitable staff, amazing food!! Came for lunch on a Friday and ordered the Rum Punch, Jerk Chicken, Beef Patty, plantains, cornbread, and rum cake. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The dishes were paired w/ complimenting sauces. Cornbread was very moist, sweet & didn’t even need butter. Venue is small, but the vibe is immaculate. I’m so glad I found this spot & would definitely recommend!

Overall I enjoyed 14 Parishes food and the island vibes. The food was tasty. I love Jamaican food and the oxtails hit the spot. The king bites were pretty good. The staff was very nice. I like the fact that they don’t serve your typical soft drinks.

Customer service was horrible from the beginning! Thankfully Stacey the waitress tried to make things right. Kitchen staff more concerned with flirting with us than the overall food experience. Best thing we had was the Rum Punch. Oxtails tasted like brown sugar, rice and peas was bland/very dry, and cabbage was overcooked/lacking ingredients/and tasted like it had been boiled in just a broth. Rum cake terribly dry and lacked everything a rum cake should be. Definitely would not recommend this place and don’t plan to return ever. This establishment definitely needs to go back to the drawing board when it comes to customer service and good food. Cute presentation though!

OUTSTANDING Jamaican restaurant! We were directed to a nearby seafood place and it was closed. We found our way to 14 Parishes and it was a perfect dinner – excellent cuisine, outstanding service and a great atmosphere. It’s a little out of the way but we’ll worth the trek from the French Quarter. You MUST try this place when you are in New Orleans!!!

Delicious food and great service. It was a busy night one person in my party kept getting neglected for drink service and food delivery but otherwise, I would definitely recommend it! I got the rum punch and Goat Curry.

The cutest place ever. My friends and I enjoyed brunch. The food was SO GOOD! Everything was fresh, seasoned, & great presentation. Drinks were A1. I had the oxtails & grits. The staff was kind and attentive. I’ll be 100% be back.

Some of the best food I had my whole trip! Unique and delicious, very gluten-free friendly, great service, really great drinks. Super loud and I’m a little hard of hearing so that was challenging, but not a reason to not go. Highly, highly recommended!

Was excited to try the food but was SORELY DISAPPOINTED. Had to get salt n pepper packs out our car. No season. I had oxtails mac n cheese & potatoes. Everything was simply overcooked & nasty! The flavors had me wanting to gag. Mac n cheese was mushy & grainy & room temp. Oxtail very stringy & nasty. That liquid it was sitting in just drove me! Phew! Never again. The other dish was short ribs cornbread & rice n peas. Omggg absolutely disgusting. One was a huge hunk of fat. Not much difference in flavor between this & the oxtails. The liquid OVERPOWERED the meat smh…. couldn’t even tell them apart. Rice n peas DRY af… Needless to say we kept cleansing our palette with the sweet cornbread. Only item that was decent. Lastly…. drink was great. Service was great! Unfortunately we won’t be back ever. FYI… THE WORKERS STAND AT THE BAR AND STARE YOU DOWN! HMMM… WONDER WHY?? THE GIRL & THE GUYS

Very very good food. The curry shrimp were delicate and tender but full of flavor and spice. The rice and peas were tender and tasty, the plantains were melt in your mouth soft and fluffy.
