Ok so I’ve heard the last owners retired and this joint was taken over by new owners. I’ve been ordering food from Fortune cookie for several years and the food has always been amazing.

We used to enjoy Fortune Cookie, but the quality declined rapidly. The dishes we ordered had burnt pieces in them, and there was an excessive amount of oil and grease. The wontons and dumplings were not as delicious as they used to be. We initially thought it was a one-time occurrence, but it happened three times, and we’ve decided to stop going there for now. Something is amiss, and it’s not good. We’ll travel farther to find a better alternative, but if the issues are resolved, we’ll return. I was just informed there are new owners. Read this review and take it to heart.

The new owners have changed our favorite, Aromatic Chicken. The sauce is good but not the same and they are using a different kind of rice. Overall the rice and sauce do not compliment each other any longer. We’ve tried it twice and will try our once favorite Chinese restaurant again at a later date. Fingers crossed they bring back the original recipe.

I had to change my review. I had it at a 5 star review before with the old owners. Now with the new owner I have found. The aromatic chicken has changed. The chicken seems cheaper and poor quality. The sauce is different. It is not bad but it is not amazing.

Called to order a pickup and was impressed from that moment on. She was very helpful and polite. Food was ready when they said it would be. It was fresh, hot and delicious. The prices are perfect and the portions are generous. The restaurant itself is very clean and welcoming. I’m guessing it is a family run business as I could see and feel the love and pride in their business. Thank you Fortune cookie, we will definitely become repeat customers.

In regards to the cuisine offered, I must specify that my evaluation pertains to the genre of Americanized Chinese fare, rather than the authenticity of Chinese cuisine. That being said, this establishment delivers all the beloved classics that one would expect from a Chinese restaurant. The premises are immaculately kept and maintained, albeit of diminutive proportions, and it is possible that it is solely a family-run enterprise, with only a handful of tables available for dining. Nevertheless, I am thoroughly impressed with this culinary gem and wholeheartedly endorse it.

New owners and they changed my favorite soup! I want to cry. And the sweet n sour chicken is different too! I’m seriously depressed I think. Now after eating it and putting the rest in the fridge, the sauce turned into a super thick paste. Light big globs of mucus that would breakdown even after reheating. Non of that ever happened before. It happened to the soup too. Huge globs that wouldn’t break down. I’m assuming that’s from too much cornstarch. Ugh, I will miss Fortune Cookie.

Not sure what’s happened to this place but it seems to have went South. My order was not only late in carry out (20m became more like 45m), but the order was wrong. Last two times it’s been like this. Hope they can get their act together

Since they got new owners the food has gone down hill. Most of the common food like pan fried noodles or lo mein were terrible and had no flavor.
