This was a return trip for us to Benderz in Avon, as it is a good distance from Denver and a great stop on the way out/back from the mountains. A group of friends all ordered different burgers or sandwiches which were all delicious. We sat on the patio and service was so quick to bring us our food and refill our beverages. Since the weather was so nice there were lots of people seated outside but it is so tucked back in the corner that you felt like you’re in a secluded space. I got the patty melt and shared some large fries since the serving sizes are big. It is a great stop to energize for for an upcoming mountain trip.

The food is so good! We had burgers and the green chili mac and could not get enough. The truffle fries are also a solid choice. Very pleased with everything we tried. Portions are nice size and the atmosphere is great.

Food was ok. But our table and the one next to us sent back a burger that came to table with cold meat – like icy cold, not just room temp cold. We ordered medium rare, but still gotta get it warmed up… And this is after you pay $2 each for mushrooms and jalapenos, extra $1.50 for cheese. Just expected a lot more for the high price tag on this burger.

Food was Standard, nothing special. Atmosphere was nice. I don’t know why they cancelled the breakfast (see picture from outside). More important, this place is definitely not family friendly. Kids menu (Light Burger & Fries) was 10$ without a drink! Including a juice we ended up with 14$ for a kids menu! That is inseane expensive. You get 7$ kids menu at other places. Not my place.

Trying to hit all the local spots while in Avon. This place didn’t disappoint. We got there at happy hour which made things even better. Really good fish tacos. Also loved the nachos, huge serving… we got the half order and it was plenty. Would go again just for the $2.50 happy hour fish tacos.

My son’s experience- I understand when you’re a waitress you have to make tips. I have worked as a waitress and know the service you give, is what makes you tips. My son and his friend went in and ate there couple days ago…Note-I have educated my son on the importance on tipping and he always gives 15-20% and he is 15 years old. He works in beaver creek and makes his own money. My son let me know the waitress was rude to them…treated them poorly, I’m thinking cause of their age? So as they paid their bill, the waitress insisted on getting a tip. My son dint leave her a tip because of the service and how rude she was towards them. She demanded a tip! She yelled at them and told them “they can never come back”! First off…there’s no law in having to tip. The way I see it you work for your tips..you earn them. Terrible service and I’m surprised they are not shut down. I would not recommend at all. Terrible customer service
