Took my dad here for his birthday. It was quite warm/hot. AC was probably not working. What bothered me the most was the service. Woman upfront seemed annoyed we came in and wanted to eat in. She gave us a to go menu and left. We said we wanted to eat in. She proceeded to give us everything to go. Plastic silverware to go, stryrofoam containers, etc. We’ve been here previous times before, not in a while. Definitely gone downhill since we’ve eaten here. Disappointing as we are Japanese and I was hoping to treat my father for his birthday. This used to be his favorite spot. It’s a 5:30 on a Thursday with nobody in here, it’s not busy at all nor do they close anytime soon. We were charged an extra $3-4 for a side of soup and salad, that which already comes with the hibachi meal. She initially wanted to argue that she didn’t charge us for it but it was apparent on the receipt and they fixed it. Food was average, but honestly mediocre for the price. The only reason I give it an extra star (2 star review) is because of the good portions, but again everything was to go and in plastic. Regardless terrible experience. Never coming here again. I don’t know what happened to this place since we last ate here. It really has gone downhill. I don’t recommend this place to anyone, especially those whom are a fan of Japanese food.

I ordered for take out and the fresh salmon and avocado roll was the only one of THREE that were edible. The cream cheese in the roll with Mango is terrible, The JB Roll is awful – the salmon is like over cooked ground canned tuna fish. It’s not good. I spent $50 on this meal and it’s just awful. I won’t be returning.

What an unbelievable surprise! Hidden gem! Sushi is absolutely amazing! You can get TWO delicious rolls for LESS THAN ten bucks at lunch!! PLUS hibachi steak, chicken or shrimp (I got) for less that ten bucks too!!! You can not get better any place else!!

Our food was terrible! Our rice had a weird taste like it was cooked in old oil/dirty pans. We ordered chicken fingers and fries for our littles and the chicken was cooked dry. They couldn’t even bite through it. Their fries tasted like they were fried in oil they fry their sea foods in. One of our Entrees ended up missing a soup/salad that came with. The service was not so welcoming either. Very short worded and not providing the customer service that was needed being that everyones meals at the table had something wrong with it. 50% was offered for this terrible experience. No apologies were given, only excuses. I wish I could rate lower than 1 star. -5 stars.

I stopped at this little place on my way home from work tonight. Never been in that shopping center and really my car just made me go in that direction. And I am so glad that it did. This is a lovely little place with very kind staff. The food is incredibly delicious what a wonderful surprise. If you are anywhere around Colonial Boulevard you have to come over and give this place a try. Takeout only everything is fresh excellent quality homemade and delicious. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did!

Food and service was horrible, ordered chicken fingers and fries for the kid. The chicken was overcooked, and the fries tasted like they were cooked in shrimp grease. Also ordered Hibachi and a teriyaki bowl which tasted a little weird. When we complained about the food nothing was done other than offering a discount, even for the food our kids didn’t want to eat. I would never come back here and if could have rated this negatively, I would have.

My family of four went here for a quick sit down dinner. Yes, the food comes out in to go containers, which is perfect because you WILL be leaving with leftovers! The Udon noodle with terriyaki chicken, and the other steak, was not only delicious, but HUGE portions. We also had 3 different sushi rolls, all fresh and delicious (Dynamite Roll, Snow Mountain Roll, and Volcano Roll). Crab rangoon is always a good appetizer option, as well. There was a large drink selection, and also beer and wine. We were very pleased with everything. The lady in the front, who also served us, was very friendly. We will be back!
