My mother and I are Mediterranean, Greek and Middle-Eastern food connoisseurs. We go to these types of restaurants every time I come in to visit. I’ve been all over the world in my 26 years in the Navy and tasted the most authentic dishes from over 20 different countries. I wish we would’ve discovered this place sooner in our quest for local Mediterranean food! The food was absolutely delicious! We’re already planning on going again. It took a little time for us to get our food, but after we got it you could tell that it was made from scratch authentic. The owner, who is Egyptian, came out to personally make sure we were taken care of and see if we enjoyed the food. The atmosphere was decent, it was a slow time of day so we were the only ones there. The staff and owner were super friendly and made it a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this place! Can’t say enough positive things about the food, which is the most important part.

Excellent food. Owner/cook came out to check on our meal. Reasonable pricing. Meal was cooked fresh and came out pretty quickly. The portion size was good. We left full. We splurged on desert (tiramisu and baklava) which were both excellent. The location near the civic center was convenient for us.

I was looking for food while on a long road trip and didn’t want the fast food that seemed so prolific in the area. We found this place after seeing the great reviews, and I’m so glad we stopped! First of all, the man working (I assume the owner?) was the sweetest person. While I’d never been here before, I felt like I was treated as family. And the food was to die for. Ample portions and great flavors! I highly recommend Aly Baba!

I have dined here many times since it opened. I have always had a positive experience. The food is great. Ziko always makes time to come and speak with you (depending on how busy he is) to check and see if you are happy with your order. I have become a huge fan of the chicken curry. I highly recommend it. The lamb schwarma is very good too. I try to come at least once a week. I have recommended many friends to come and try it. You won’t be disappointed if you eat here.

Adam was all over the place and so was Sandy. The food was outstanding and so was the service. Had the Shrimp Scampi appetizer, which came out hot and the garlic bread with it was awesome. We ordered the grilled chicken pita and gyro platter. Both came out hot and were very tasty. Well done and we will be back!
