Pappys Chicago style eatery started in the 90s in the Chicago suburbs, we are pleased to serve you the authentic Chicago style food we grew up on! We Opened our first restaurant in Saint Paul MN in 2004, later opened multiple locations since then. We built a successful business only by serving food that made the Windy City famous for its street food.
The proof is in the fact that most of our ingredients come directly from Chicago. As a result, our valued customers drive from all over the Twin Cities to eat the food they love.

I’ve always wanted to try Pappys and finally made effort. I was very happy We stopped in, great menu of hand food. We had Chicago dogs, Vienna dogs, shrimp, fries, and everything was good. We did eat inside but noticed everyone eleventh was picking up, service was fast enough. I will go back and work down the menu. Give it try.

Place was easy to find and the food was great! I ordered a 12in sandwich and Holy cow! I gave the one half to a co worker because there was no way I could eat that much food!

This was worth my 20 mile drive. When I was at home, I told myself this better be worth my drive. To my suprise the food was great and hot. The fries are real potatoes and crispy. The Maxwell Street Polish sausage I got was great. I will be doing this drive more often for food this good.

Good food, nearly comparable to Portillo’s but more affordable for the family. This particular neighbor hood is a little sketchy though. The place is busy, so plan accordingly. Do NOT order through door dash unless you have a plentiful supply of Vaseline on hand because you’ll get a stiff upcharge on the base price of the food, in addition to the middle man fees, carpet tax, tea tax, etc. The hot dogs are all great. The Italian Beef is superb!

The person taking your order is Always Very polite! He did touch his nose and didn’t wash his hands. The food is Usually Very good but this time it was over cooked and Not the best. They weren’t busy at all so I didn’t see a need to rush with making my order! I’ll come back again in the future

Been going here since it opened and never a bad choice. They don’t miss! Recommend the buffalo chicken philly sandwich, gyro/gyro fries, and wings. Oh and fries with the lemon pepper too

First time we tried Pappys. Friendly service, good taste, reasonably prices but slow receiving food order. We had 3 orders, one order came out immediately but by time the other orders came out our friend was finished with his.

Food is usually great, but the old guy working the register with messy hair and dirty clothes is hard to work with. My order was also missing fries this last time. I’ll probably stop coming here and continue going to Hook instead.
