This is the best burger place to eat at! It’s for sure worth the wait for the food. It’s fresh hamburgers not a frozen patty. We waited about 15 minutes for our food and it was amazing. We went around lunch and they were packed but got our food out as quickly as possible. The girl that took our order was really sweet. If you want home cooked burgers this is the place to go!

I’m surprised I haven’t ever reviewed this place in the past. We have been coming for burgers here for a few years while passing through town. Absolutely consistently high quality and freshly prepared burgers. I can’t comment on anything else on their menu as their burgers are so good we have not tried anything else since first ordering the burger!

The experience is fun but the service and quality of food leaves something to be desired.

Well, well well…this place has been hiding in plain sight for decades. I live in La Grange which is about 30 miles north of Columbus and never has anyone once mentioned this delightful home grown hamburger drive in! They have a large number of menu items and we will return again and again. On this first visit we order a hamburger, a cheeseburger, tots, onion rings and large drinks. It cost a little over $20 but worth every penny. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. Be aware there is no indoor seating, but they have outdoor tables or you can eat in your car. You need to place your order at the walk-up window or pickup from the car pickup window.

Worst burger I’ve had in a long time. It was dry, overcooked with chili that was no better than dirt. Service was EXTREMELY slow. Go somewhere else. I have it 1 star because they have ice cream.

While this place is small and in the middle of nowhere the food was great. It did take a while to get my food so don’t expect to get out of here under five minutes. If your in a hurry call ahead and it may reduce your wait time. Had it not been for an accident on the interstate I would not have stopped and waited so long. Overall this is a great place to eat and it’s fairly friendly.

This hometown favorite is absolutely delicious! The hamburgers are next to amazing, consisting of fresh ground meat and veggies. If you want an added taste of heaven, add their thick-sliced bacon. Yum. I also tried the grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese, and it did not disappoint! Always enjoy going here when I come home!

We stopped here for a change of pace. I did not expect that peace to be “country- style laid-back pace” 🙂

Ok ever since having designed one of the best burgers in Texas as the original employee for The Chicken Oil Company in Bryan Tx – I have been looking for a better one! This is it hands down!!! A Perfect 10!

The gas buddy app brought us to the Valero gas station for gas $2.49 and $2.43 with cash. Next door was the cutest little hamburger/ice cream drive in. A throw back to the 50’s. A local was sitting on the bench waiting for his coney dog order. We asked what was good? He said his favorite was the chicken strip basket. It comes with four strips, gravy, Texas toast, fries and salad. A great but for $6.30. Loved the gravy! We were too full to try the The onion rings looked huge.
