Definitely couldn’t wait to try this place. It’s a brand new location because it had the brand new smell.

The lady taking our order was very nice. I had never been there so she had to explain a few things to me. That’s some of their chicken and pork and both were good. I did need to add some teriyaki sauce to it. I will definitely come back

This experience was pleasant. The food was hot, fresh, very flavorful, and there was about a 5 minute wait (For fresh steak). For the caliber of food served I would consider this fairly fast service. The employees were knowledgeable of items served and helpful. The multiple choices of entrees i feel gives them an advantage over Hawaiian Bros (Direct Competitor). Something different, other than the average fast food choices. I would definitely revisit this restaurant even if it means more driving. Just make sure you bring your wallet.

I ordered the three meat meal $17.99 plus tax with extra for steak. I specifically asked for teriyaki chicken, steak and pork. As the pic shows I found NOT get steak. I want another meal as I am not driving all the way back for replacement. I paid extra for steak and got breaded chicken which I specifically asked NOT to get. I just tried to call. Got left in hold and then hung up on after no one picked up. ♀️ ♀️ ♀️ ♀️ ♀️ ♀️

We had a nice day after Christmas meal here and it delivered so well. The rice was cooked to perfection and the katsu chicken is some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. I also tried the pork and steak and they were both perfectly cooked and the steak was so flavorful. Their sauces are delicious and a must have with the pork and a great addition to everything else. I had the chocolate cookie and it was so decadent I had to save some for later. The service was quick and they were so nice and genuine. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

LOOOOOVE ME SOME MO’BETTAHS!! What can I say other than go get you some!! The katsu chicken is SOOO good. It’s scrumptious, crispy (don’t forget the sauce) and definitely my favorite thing on the menu! Overall, the food is authentic and delicious! The manager, Layrell, did a great job with her crew. She came out to see if we needed anything and if we enjoyed our food. All were friendly and the restaurant was very clean.

The food is okay at best but the servings are extremely small. You will need to order 2 meals just to have an average size. My wife and I picked up and took home to eat. I had steak and chicken. Steak consisted of 4 strips about a 1/4”thick and maybe 3 inches long, 1 of those pieces had a vein or gristle making it inedible. The chicken was 2inches by 3inches. I had 80 percent cabbage, a small scoop of rice and a small scoop of macaroni salad. My wife’s was just the same. She never eats a complete meal as she is a very light eater yet she was able to the entire meal then some ice cream . I WILL NOT BE BACK. GO TO HAWAII BROTHERS IT TASTES BETTER AND THE SERVING ARE OVER TWICE THE SIZE.

The food is great. We’ve made it a go-to when dashing, even a date dinner. Any excuse to enjoy the tastes and textures of a great meal. The only change would be the addition of Diet Dr. Pepper to the drink menu.

This is by far the closest to Seattle teriyaki I’ve had here in KC (including that place in Overland Park that has the gall to advertise Seattle style). That said, it’s still not quite right, but I’ll eat here while my search continues. The couch kitten is cooked well, with actual sear marks, but not sliced. The sauce on the chicken is slightly spicy, which isn’t right, but my husband gave his steak rave reviews. Rice is rice. I like the macaroni salad better than Hawaiian Bros, but that’s not saying much. The salad is where they got me. Seattle teriyaki has a cold salad, mostly iceberg lettuce, with a sweet kind of Asian coleslaw type sauce. The salad here, with the Asian sauce, was… close? I’ll be back to try more dishes, for sure.
