Ordered online on Friday, June 16. Ordered a tuna salad sandwich. As it does for every sandwich, the online order page asks about “toppings.” I selected “No Mayo.” I did not get a tuna salad sandwich. I got a sandwich made with just tuna! I have asked a couple other people and they thought the same thing I did — selecting “No Mayo” meant don’t spread mayonnaise on the bread. Again, it’s not a tuna salad sandwich if you don’t put tuna salad into the sandwich! I truly can’t believe they thought in this instance, even though ordering any sandwich includes the option to forego Mayo that I wanted a sandwich filled with dry tuna!

Recently, I had my first visit to Beach Hut Deli and I chose the McClellan Park location because it’s the closest to my house. The sandwich was really delicious, top quality! The cashier was very polite and professional, and even though he was new, he was quite proficient.

Ok beach hut, your wait time is ridiculous!! it don’t matter what time I go into beach hut. The wait time for a sandwich is so long. It’s crazy! My lunch was only 30 minutes, and I used the majority of my lunch time waiting on a single sandwich. If there are several or a larger order a head of a customer walking up, you should inform the customer that there will be a 15- 20 minutes wait that way the customer can decide if he/she should order or head somewhere else. I get there are on-line and phone orders but come on, be mindful. Food is good but the service sucks!

This was my 1st time ever going to a Beach Hut restaurant. The ladies that were working were very kind to guide me through the sandwiches and to help me decide which would be the appropriate size sandwich for me to order. I decided to go with the Surfin’ Bird as pictured, I ordered a small as recommended, and it surely filled me up! There were lots of great selections on the menu however I’m a softy when it comes to bacon, avocado, and cream cheese! The restaurant also had bathrooms on sale bathrooms on site where you are able to wash your hands before eating your meal. They haperiod they have a spacious dining room and they also have a dining patio as well! This is a very nice location with ample amount of parking.

The spicolli sandwich is pretty darn good. If you add raw onion it’s even better. The problem I have with them is they don’t always read the order specifications like putting cooked onions or none at all instead of raw. One time I got the sandwich with the cheese cold and unmelted though the menu says it is supposed to be. The staff seem like they are more concerned with getting product out the door instead of getting it correct. Often I call in to get the order going for a pick up but it mostly goes to a message that sends me a link via text to order online. Ordering online doesn’t let me make customizations. So, because of this I have to call several times to get a real person to place the order.
