There were literally 5 people working and it took 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge our existence, there was no other customers inside but us and one other table. I got smothered and covered hash browns and there were literally 2 onions in my hash browns. My sister’s cheese grits were inedible because they were so clumpy and old, oh they also had literal paper in them. Won’t be back to this location.

I have to say this is probably the worse experience I have ever had at a Waffle House. When we came in there was only seating available at the high bar but it had not been cleaned so waiting for it to be cleaned. At this time stood in front of the area waiting for it be be cleaned and no one had greeted us. After some time another waitress that was taking care of a large party had to come from her area and greeted us. She then had to come back later and clean off the area for us because we were still waiting. After we were able to sit then our waitress Hannah decided we were worth talking to. She took our order and we even checked with her to make sure it was correct. We then proceeded to wait where in the mean time they choose to bring us the check before we received the check before I received any of my food. After 45 minutes we received our food which we were very displeased with. We ask for our waffles to be cooked lightly but that hey were so hard til one had to recooked. The chili was so watered down til the sauce was pooled under the hash browns and to top it off there was grits smeared under my hash brown plate. Our waitress was not attentive and often left us without our beverages so when the chef had a free moment he came to refill our drinks. When came back to give us the check and when we told her we were not pleased with the meal she walked away. At that point we decided to leave. We payed and left. I wouldn’t recommend ever going to the Waffle House.

I had been in the area many times, butt never noticed this Waffle House before. I stopped in at a perfect time because they were fairly empty. The food was delicious and new waitress took extra good care of my family. Will be stopping by again.

I patiently waited to have my take out order taken since another customer was being checked out when another customer walked up to check out also. When I walked up to the counter Hannah didn’t speak and motioned for the other guy to bring her his check. After she checked that man out she asked was I needing to place an order & then had another person take my order. She could have explained that she wasn’t taking orders instead of skipping over me. My waffles were soggy and my bacon over cooked hurting my teeth. I went to Waffle House on Moffett Rd last month & service & food was on point. I don’t usually eat Waffle House & this visit didn’t make me want to eat them more.

Horrible service. They never answered the phone so we had to go in to place our order. My husband had to tell them how to write it down. Our waffles were raw, they forgot to give him his salad, and forgot the chili on the hash browns. You try to correct them and you are met with piss poor attitudes. This Waffle House has been going down hill for some time now. Waffle House please hire people that care! This one is the worst in town! Don’t go here! On top of all this they weren’t that busy.

They were super, super busy. Food was very slow coming out. But the whole staff was AMAZING!! Courteous, attentive, totally aware that their diners were waiting much longer than usual. The staff’s upbeat, positive attitude made what could have been a negative experience a very happy one. Kudos Old Shell Rd Waffle House!!

Ordered some food to go, and was half way home when I realized they forgot the chili on my hash-browns. Working in a food industry I wasn’t upset, and turned back around to go get what was so worth the 5 minute drive down old shell. Greeted at the door with looks of shock, I nicely confirmed to them the missing order of chili on the flakes of crispy potatoes. Overwhelmed with my attitude of understanding and humbleness for their great service at the haunting hour, the cook offered to fix me a whole new order of hash-browns concerned for the coldness the old ones might be by the time j made my way down old shell. Because that’s what you get at waffle-House, family, care love. It’s not Waffle-House, it’s a Waffle-Home.
