Amazing food! Limited vegan options but plenty of vegetarian options. Manager checked on us multiple times and also gave us extra hot chips for our guacamole. Wonderful ambiance for brunch, beautiful decor. Pretty pricey but worth it for what you get.

The place is super nice on the inside, we were seated promptly and given a very nice table. Started with the queso fundido with chorizo which was very good but the corn tortillas were just ok, would’ve preferred hand made flour tortillas with this option. The other appetizer was the guacamole with tomatillos and that was very good. As for the options, they gave us a brunch menu. We had the chilaquiles which were awesome. The avocado toast which was really a huarache was super good and I ordered a Chile de árbol salsa which was amazing and spicy; the pulpo however was not very good and had a weird taste to it. My kids ordered the quesadilla, sopes, street corn and finished with the tree leches cake, all of those options were average and therefore it is a 4 star instead of 5. It seems it is a bit overpriced relative to the flavor and quality of the food served. The service was very professional and food came out well, hot and in time. Overall a very good place to eat at, with very authentic Mexican flavors.

Lovely, attentive, and kind staff. Really appreciated their kindness and accommodations. Though pricey, the tacos were pretty good (but… for $5+ each?? not sure they were THAT good)—loved that there were two vegetarian options (eggplant and cauliflower). Lovely seating by windows that feels well spaced away from other guests in this pandemic.

The Ghia Old Fashioned was a great mocktail! On the other hand, La Colada was underwhelming, but I enjoyed the soft ice they utilized in the beverage.

I had an absolute amazing time last night. Their new carnitas sushi roll is to die for and you won’t taste anything like it anywhere else. The atmosphere made me feel cozy and comfortable and our waiter, Gabriel, was so nice and accommodating. Thank you so much to all Paraiso staff for a wonderful time last night; I will surely be back.

This was hands down one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in DC. I booked a table for two on cinco de Mayo. The restaurant had a pre fixed menu option that day but so much of the menu looked worthy of ordering that we opted out. We ordered a combination of small and large plates to share. The crab tostada, sea bass croquetas, and Snapper a la Talla were amongst our favorites. The quest fundido was also very good. We ordered salad, yucca fries, and Brussels sprouts as well. The margaritas were very well made. Everything was phenomenal. No disappointments at all. Our server was attentive. As an added bonus, there was a mariachi band playing. Great experience. I hope to be back soon.

I was amazed by the food and service here. Victor was an amazing waiter and recommended the mussels to us. When I tell you it was a life changing experience trying it – I am not exaggerating! The mussels were fresh with a nice spicy broth. It came with a side of the most delicious cornbread. The spicy margs and tacos were so good too! Can’t wait to go back tonight ☺️

Awesome. Great environment and very friendly and attentive service. I ordered the enchiladas verdes, and they were spectacular. So flavorful! It is pretty expensive (the enchiladas were a bit smaller than average and $30), so be prepared.
