The restaurant is nice sized. Had an upscale feel to it. I walked in right before closing, a quarter til 1 p.m. The lady there told me I could order to go. She was still sweet for taking my order. I didn’t want to bother, but she insisted. I ordered a French onion soup and a fruit cup. The soup was hot and good. The assorted fruit was in a to go bowl filled to the top!

It’s mostly just a place for the Hotel, but non-guests are welcome, I have been twice for breakfast, things are a bit slow, mostly due to very little staff, but they are trying for sure. I have ordered off menu breakfast, and had the buffet breakfast, definitely order off menu, the quality is 10X better. They have really good Bloody Marys, coffee is what you’d expect at a hotel. Although i will add if getting the buffet breakfast, the fruit is really fresh, it’s the eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes that leave a bit more to be desired.

Food is great, but the server/bartender, Diego makes the whole place better. He is kind, attentive, and makes great drink suggestions. He remembers the regulars that are staying for business and makes you feel like you are at home at “Diego’s Place.” Ganders would not be the same without him.

Great food! Our server, Jeremy was terrific! Calm, knowledgeable, pleasant and efficient! Coconut shrimp, Cesar salad, chicken vesuvio, and pork chop – all delicious. Decent wine list and good cocktails! But the tiramisu was among the best I’ve ever had! Outstanding end to a fun meal. Thank you!

The bartender was cool. My crown and coke was mixed strong, just the way I like it. I ordered a pizza to take back to the room so I could continue working. It was the most horrid thing I’ve ever tasted. Something was spoiled. Plus it was burnt. I’m sure there is an excuse for it all. Not enough people, not this not that. I get it. But a visual inspection would have solved it all.

Sat there for 15 min waiting to be acknowledged even though they had 4 servers. Table was sticky and disgusting. Don’t eat here. Hotel was old and dated. Don’t stay here.
