Give credit when credit is due. I have been to Chinese restaurants from Boston MA. To Orlando FL. Give or take at least 50-60 different restaurants in the last several years. This restaurant is in the top 5 of my favorite Chinese Restaurants. I definitely wasn’t expecting the quality of food from this remote place in super southern VA. My food was to -go, but If you ever get the chance to dine-in, take a moment to look around to the attention to detail in this restaurant. It’s obvious to me this is a proud owner. I’m not sure how this restaurant made it to this remote spot, but the locals are lucky to have a place like this. The price is no contest to 90% of other similar restaurants. Prices are amazing for the quality of food.

This is the best restaurant in southern VA in my opinion. We are from the DC area and all the Chinese restaurants in this area are just an awkward version of bad Chinese food. Most of them don’t have enough foot traffic to keep fresh ingredients, but not the Peking Chinese restaurant. All the food is always fresh. Their crab Rangoon/ wontons are on point. The hot and sour soup was exactly how it was supposed to taste. The sweet tea, chicken and onions, and strawberry cake were all delicious. They have three whole buffet bars full of food.

Nice restaurant, clean and quiet. Very friendly staff and great food. They offer all you can eat buffet with a wide variety of foods, a hibachi grill, as well as you can order from their menu in restaurant or for take out. It’s kid friendly and family oriented.

I ordered takeout and bought 2 orders of cream cheese Won Tons. I love eating here and especially on weekends with the seafood buffet. You can’t go wrong here if you’re a seafood lover and love crablegs & shrimp. I advise you to definitely give the cream cheese Wontons a try! I havent had any that’s better. The owners are genuinely very nice!

I wanted so badly to give this place a 5 star rating. Because it’s always been my kids & I favorite place to eat. Considering it’s not to far from where we live. But after last night. It will be a long time before I go back. The reason why is because, we took our daughter there last night after her high school graduation. After everyone got done eating, we were setting around talking. I caught something crawling on our table, out of the corner of my eye. After closely inspecting it. It was a cockroach crawling on our table. I notified our server to let her know what I had seen. She said she would tell the manager. After walking out, I noticed her and the manager had walked to our table. I told my husband, it will be a very long time before I go back.

I like their wonton soup, chicken on a stick, and steamed vegetables with shrimp. I only get carry-out. I love the peel-and-eat shrimp on Friday & Saturday after 3 pm. They also have California roll but they need to add the cucumber to it. They need to bring back the crab legs on the Buffett.

Seemed clean and pleasant. Patrons were spaced. Required masks and gloves at the buffet. My take out order was prepared quickly and was complete, packed in sturdy reusable take-out containers. I asked for sauce packets and they gave me plenty which is always nice. Had kung pao veggies and the tofu with mushrooms plus veggie spring rolls. Both dishes were pretty tasty and the veggies were crisp and fresh. Came with slightly fried rice instead of steamed which seemed unusual but was fine. Will definitely get takeout again.
