I want to give 5 stars but I can’t . Let’s start with positives. Large spacious parking lot. Very clean and isn’t quiet but definitely not loud (can’t stand a loud restaurant). Server was super friendly. Now the room for improvement is, our server was terribly over worked. Very little service due to the fact she was working all the tables. A long wait for our food and my sandwich was cold. Seems like some staffing could greatly improve the experience so I will probably try again in the future, fingers crossed.

Excellent service from Elmer (see pic). Tasty filet and salmon. Cole slaw without too much sauce. Steak sauces on request and water that magically fills just as needed. We don’t drink but there is a long bar in a separate area. A huge area with only a few tables and several; booths; suitable for dancing when the weekend bands play.(see schedule). Try the Garlic Parmesan Buffalo wings. They could make a whole meal!

Outstanding food and spectacular service! The last couple times we’ve had grisly BBQ Burnt Ends but the rack of ribs were amazing! In addition, all the food has been amazing, and well prepared with spectacular flavor! The “outdoor live entertainment” is a bonus to this small undeserving community! The turnout is normally dismal and disappointing for the entire staff! I’ve heard the complaints about the food prices, but, they’re not out of line one bit! Visit this place and you’ll never regret it, as you become a repeat customer! Outstanding! Talk to the owner “Randy” and he’ll welcome you with open arms! Quite impressive!

We ate about 430 on a Saturday afternoon. Super clean and fast. So delicious. Everything from the rolls to the fries were amazing, the pork belly burnt ends were salty and tender. We both ordered burgers that were juicy and cooked to perfection. Our kids are particular and loved the grilled cheese and chicken tenders. Our waitress was super nice. Portions were plentiful. Will definitely be back!

Only went to this restaurant after seeing a commercial on TV. Was not all it appeared to be. Very quiet, not lively at all, pretty empty for a Saturday night. Despite the restaurant being pretty empty, kitchen service was extremely slow. Menu prices were a bit steep for the size and quality of the dishes. $9 for fried pickles consisting of only 5 flimsy little pickles, the dish of ranch dressing on the side was bigger than the app itself. Baked potatoes seemed liked they were sitting in a warmer all day. Ordered the bbq platter with burnt ends instead of pulled pork- the ends and the brisket were pretty slim portions, while the ribs were on the bigger side, they were mostly fat. The only thing worth the 45 minute drive from Kansas City was the pretty scenery on the way in. Sadly though, it was a major disappointment.

An untried restaurant for our anniversary? This one was an excellent choice! While I wouldn’t call it a romantic setting, we did love the food & service. Portions were large and tasty, from the BBQ combo platter of brisket, ribs, & pulled pork to BBQ ribs entrée. The side dishes were just as pleasing in size & taste. We had coleslaw, baked beans, baked potato, & rolls. My husband enjoyed the freshly made coffee, and my strawberry daiquiri was mild & delicious.

My husband and I had the pork tenderloin sandwich. It was very good. We are not fans of the chips. Pay the extra for something else. Onion straws and fried pickles were excellent. The spicy dipping sauce is the best. Beer could have been colder, especially for a bar. The server came around to being really good after a rough start. Highly recommend.

I recommend you just go to Texas Roadhouse. I ordered a medium sirloin, half was well done, half was medium rare because of the poor cut. It has more of a round steak consistency. The servers were polite but the place was slow.

The food was excellent. We had the rib eye steak w/sides and the moo burger. Both were cooked to order and tasted phenomenal. The service was excellent as well, our server was on top of her game. There was a 1 man band playing in the bar area playing a pleasant variety of music and interacting with the crowd. The staff was interacting with our 19 month old little boy with treats from the kitchen of cherries and oranges. Very enjoyable experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
