This is a review from Yelp that I had done a couple years ago but I wanted to share on here as well. We were staying at a nearby condominium and saw the restaurant sign as we drove by. We called (took a little time for someone to answer) and there was no wait so we walked over there. They were not too busy and they had the diners spaced out. The food and service were good.

Went to the bar @ Schooner’s everyday of stay. Great friendly bartenders, intimate atmosphere. Well stocked bar with something for everyone. Got snacks during happy hour and they were really good.

Went here for breakfast and waited 10 minutes for a coffee refill. One table that never got served got up and left. Not a busy day, there were only 5 tables occupied. Do yourself a favor and go to Layton’s next door. Better food and way better service.

I’ve stayed here before wasn’t impressed. But now I’m happy with new upgrades, new staff, new outdoor furniture seating. I recommend ordering from the menu. Services was friendly and attentive. If you came here before you should come back to check it out again.

This is our first visit to Ocean City, MD. We decided to try this restaurant as we are staying in the hotel. We got the buffet and the food was terrible. The eggs were crusty from sitting out so long. The waffles and French toast were lukewarm at best. The sausages were dry and the cheese blintzes were hard and didn’t taste good at all. The service wasn’t great either. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
