It was very interesting to see a full bar in Pizza King. Spoke to a few locals and this seems to be one place where everyone gets together to share gossip, local news, or to just talk about what’s going on with the world. The server was a little pushy trying to get the patrons to order quickly. Maybe he needed the tips and was trying to get them higher by pushing toward higher priced menu items.

Gotta admit, I was skeptical when someone suggested this place to me while I was in town for work. It really looks like a dive bar and grill – and maybe it is. But the food was very tasty. Everyone in our party was impressed – we mostly had the burgers and philly cheesesteak sandwich – and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back again. They could definitely serve this food in Champaign, Indianapolis or Chicago and still have a following!
