I had the BEST lobster roll of my life at The Pit! I’ve been hearing rave reviews about them, now I know why. I ordered the New England roll and Connecticut roll. Both were filled with whole pieces of real lobster meat. If you want to eat a delicious roll, get down to The Pit.

The pickles are polite; the slaw well-balanced. The cold roll is the way to go. Again, unintrusive and fully apportioned. A whimsical lobster toy keeps would-be bathroom bandits from running amok. The feature decor is a series of four clocks – all on EST- with Key West showing just a few mins slower.

As a New England native, this is finally the taste of home in nj. My family’s favorite is the New England and the Connecticut lobster roll. The lobster meat is fresh and you definitely need a fork to pick up the overflow. The staff deserves a shout out, for amazing attention and service.
